As long as I live here I will never (knowingly) pay an inflated price. I’ve been to a few national parks here and always used either DL or pink card. Since they stopped accepting these I’ve been to Khao Yai once. I was with Thai friends who drove their S Class in front of me driving my Accord. None of us paid anything because my friends “knew someone”. I haven’t tried any park since because I can’t be bothered getting <deleted> off when they want to rip me off.

Given that you’re in Hua Hin I’ll assume you’re talking about Market Village. It’s always been predominantly foreigners not wearing masks or at best using a mask to keep their chin warm.

I wasn’t only at Icon at the weekend, in fact I’m there 2 or 3 times a week. I was talking in general terms and not only about shopping malls.

There are definitely lots of tourists in BKK at the moment. Particularly at Icon a few days ago. Plenty of non mainland Chinese too.

When the rules change I’ll stop wearing a mask outdoors. When I’m driving in bkk I wear a mask. Outside of bkk only if I’m approaching a checkpoint.

The UK government was so proud that it dumped all restrictions, obsessed with a little piece of fabric. Last week alone infections rose by 43%. This nonsensical obsession with “my civil rights” is just pathetic.
