I don't know why they didn't instead continue overhead at end of Route 7, and continue past Thepprasit Rd, surely cheaper than digging 3 tunnels?

Well it appears that it is illegal to cut down trees on your own land as far as I know. It doesn't matter what sort of title you have.
I guess it is different if it is an expiring rubber plantation.
Depends on what type of trees there are, permission and official is required for Teak, not sure on others?

First, it was not an assassination attempt, it was a vaccination attempt. It has been discovered that Kim Jong Un's mental instability is caused by his addiction to cheese and the resulting lactose imbalance makes him incoherent and foam at the mouth. So, the plan was hatched to inoculate the poor despot with a substance that causes him to reject the cheese over time, and effectively ween him slowly and gently from his addiction and thereby achieving a detente in the region.
It didn't work. Pity.
He should come to Thailand then, he won't be able to afford the stuff

Well the press was saying for days an arrest warrant would be issued if he didn't show, and I guess he can read the papers, so any tip off was probably not needed.
I do find it funny that right now though, no one knows where he is. He doesn't normally keep a low profile. I am waiting with keen anticipation for Interpol to be informed officially and for his passport to be cancelled. I will not however, be holding my breath on those two things.
Where's the next Grand Prix????

No 'citizen's arrests' allowed here then? Oh no, never get involved.
I must be getting a bit cynical though, because I was almost amused to read that it was the driver who lost control for a change, not the vehicle.
Hey ho. another day in paradise.
But ... when the driver reports in to police after sobering up, it MIGHT be a different story!!!

So it wasn't bad weather when he began his flight then? Yet another feeble attempt to cover up mistakes!!!!!

If you have a CAT office near you, buy a CAT phonecard (I think B200/B500), very cheap international calls. Can also get in 7-11's, but most of them say "no have"
I think CAT to landline line in UK is about 2b/min

I really DO love superstition, it makes me feel so so confident when I dare to venture outside my house...

What brave lads to beat someone to death four to one for no reason whatsoever: I hope they never walk as free men again.
You can hope, as I do, but we know, will never happen...

So, assuming they have Fishery Protection vessels patrolling, then all is ok, most probably not, so therefore they will carry on as per norm... therefore most probably a totally insignificant ban.

from what someone posted previously on another thread the PromptPay service is not available to foreigners...please correct me if I am wrong...
When I use my BB debit card, after each transaction I get the option "do you want to enrol in PromptPay" - or words to that effect. I haven't responded with a 'yes' yet, might try it next time and see what happens, unless someone else here has already done this???

Was going to suggest Senna, can also buy in tablet form. My wife buys Senna leaf from a herbalist, boil and strain into mug. Otherwise 'Fitne' herbal tea, B75.- for 20 sachet.
