Having read the replies I can see the answer to my question is yes a cut above. If anyone said good morning to me I would reply with a good morning but hey I was brought up with that. Yes I do belive Farangs here belive they are a cut above  not just Thai but all other Farangs.

I used to get the same thing in NakhonSawan,  very impolite, it costs nothing to say 'good morning' or "hello", was told by a German, that it was sort of quite a common thing there.

  2. Yesterday I did 90-day report for myself and an invalid friend, no form was offered to me.

Also I still maintain that it is not an official "TM" form, I dispute it's legality The downloaded copy of this

form has NO TM number. I thought most if not all Immigration Forms are prefixed "TM", although could

    be wrong?

  3. I could never bring myself to vote for someone with a French sounding name like 'Farage'.

It would be a bit like electing an Austrian to keep Germany pure.

Now in the EU that would be called racist. As we are getting out of the EU it is your choice and opinion, nothing racist there in my opinion. I pronounce it differently, a bit like in ' Keeping up Appearances' but the English way. It is Not Farage but Furregg. smile.png

So I can assume you keep your car in a Gurregg, then????whistling.gif

  4. Not education is it, it's indoctrination and nationalistic brain washing, horrible.

Please open the link and tell me the boys and girls are being subjected to "indoctrination and nationalistic brain washing"

Maybe there's a bit of difference between CCF (13-18y-o) and these kiddos in kindergarten, joining the CCF I believe is voluntary, whereas being told you've got to do this and purchase extra clothing for them is not the same?

  5. Phantom post #16

I think they are scared to ask questions, because they lose 'face' - not knowing something is to be a buffalo - it's irrelevant that probably

majority of the class don't know or understand either. I used to tell pupils that in a village school, it didn't make a blind bit of difference,

although some of the 'smarter' ones would wait until the end of lesson and then ask, but of course damage is done.
