  1. The series parallel combination of packs and how this influences detection and repair of failed cells depends on many factors including connectivity method cell quality and monitoring. Complex packs built with low quality cells cheap BMS and no state monitoring are not the best choice for long term reliable solar storage.

The video below from Seplus shows how LiFePO4 cells are arranged into a pack. It also shows how higher capacity is achieved by connecting individual packs in parallel and monitoring with second level BMS at the charging point.

Keep the battery arrangement as simple as possible and employ good quality BMS and monitoring.

I think most of these issues, (not just on Lazada, but also on the multiple topics of discontent in this forum), stem from the user's setup, not the website.

Of course that would be acceptable if said setup were giving the same problems for all shopping sites and not just Lazada.

Lazada implements aggressive security checks that often lead to the flagging of IP addresses followed up with repeated validation. The simple act of switching browsers can trigger unusual traffic detection.

I am quite sure the site comes under attack often but there are ways to protect without annoying users to the level Lazada does.

This problem also occurs when users are logged in which is beyond ridiculous.

I can browse Lazada at length without problems until I switch to a DNS that filters garbage. Two users on the same IP browsing Lazada can also trigger errors.

Sorry Max, I was simply confused as I get no problems with Lazada with or without VPN.

    No worries.

I have have no problems also but can quite easily cause the Lazada system to throw network errors. Their security system is quite aggressive along with the site browsing trackers.

What they have not yet learnt is do not annoy the customer when he is logged in looking to make purchases. Much of the Asian online market places have yet to mature.

  4. The network error can occur while logged in or out of Lazada.

The error gets triggered mostly by particular blocks of IP addresses or when the browser interferes with or blocks the Lazada tracking cookies.

My brother uses a Thai ISP and has no end of problems with Lazada unless he uses a VPN.

I never have problems when using the site from Singapore or Hong Kong IP addresses unless I use a local DNS server to block trackers which the Lazada system hates.

  5. AMD-SATA supports the standards IDE and ACHI. The naming of the controller does not always reflect what it supports. I would guess Asrock leave the IDEATA/ATAPI controller driver in the hands of Windows 10 these days unless a change is forced by the user.

My work bench station has a Ryzen3 on AMD late chipset.  It uses the Microsoft driver named Standard SATA AHCI Controller

I challenge you to find even a single post or person here that suggests that you purchase an external SSD.

You jump to erroneous conclusions time after time and then blame others for your erroneous actions. But it's all you.

Don't think it has gone unnoticed. People are just being extra nice to you.

Your patience is exemplary but I doubt you will manage to get a light on given the level of defensive behavior coming your way.

The threads a classic fail due to lack of constructive feedback. Frustration and the presence of the more knowledgeable often triggers defensive reactions.

Might be best to flee this cuckoo's nest before someone throws a 7.

True, but if it happens on many PC's (were topics about large groups of PC's not being able to update or getting faults) then its a Microsoft problem. But its hard for Microsoft unlike apple there is so much variation in hardware.

People forget or are unaware that Microsoft gets the blame for everything their fault or not. Software and hardware vendors have a long history of not following the rules. Updates often dig up deep rooted bugs which are not always in the operating code.

Most of my embedded development tools run under Linux out of convenience and some personal choice, but not because its so much better than under Windows. Linux can be a time consuming pain for setup procedures.

Some vendor tools are only available for Windows.

For me Windows 7-10 has been very stable even under extreme multi tasking through several ports. Sometimes the heavy integration of Windows and limited ability to tweak can be advantageous.

Finally, there's nothing worse than a Linux fanboy who never quite got over his first Sudo command.

As for the OP, being cruel to be kind was my approach.

I originally asked for help on my Widows Updater problem which I still have and none of the suggestions so far have addressed that particular problem.

As for your comment "Why in the beginning did you not state that you do not want a clean install", I never asked about how to do a clean install.

And as for your comment "This would have avoided irritating those who spent time explaining the procedure and almost guaranteed cure to your problem", NONE of the suggestions were/are relevant to fixing my problem and I tried quite a few.

Further to that I do NOT like or wish to be ordered to do this or that by anybody, let alone unknown people on a web site.

Perhaps you should follow some of your own advice, "maybe its best to follow the circular path in silence".

A clean install would fix the problem. You failed to execute it as instructed.

Take the computer to someone who knows what thy are doing.

I spent another hour or so this morning plodding through MS Windows and eliminating possibilities. I still have more to do.

If you cant be bothered to properly acknowledge those with solid solutions maybe its best to follow the circular path in silence.

I never changed my stance at all i say that all exe files are potentially dangerous. Especially from unknown sources.  You keep telling me that your program does not has it but you have no proof. I also don't have proof that it has. I just say that these kind of things are potential security risks.

With so many on edge with malware and viruses these days I try to avoid posting links that invite the downloading of executables even if I know thay are clean.

People can get upset when you question motives. Sometimes its best to ignore the reactions.

Maybe brother Eindhoven will be along soon and you can go a second round  ????

Are any of these videos in English? (I don't understand much more than very basic Thai.)

And pardon my ignorance--what does LOS mean? ????

I posted the YouTube link as a method to find a repair service, I doubt watching the videos will help much.

Most provide a Facebook or Line contact for those looking for inverter repair/test service.

I still can’t understand what’s causing the inverter’s fault code.

The Voltronic boards used in many inverter brands issue fault code 07 - 09 when abnormal voltage is detected in the power switching circuit. This is usually down to component failure.

Fortunately the power stages of these very common are easy to test and repair.

Try one of the Tube fixers, there are many in LOS.

you had someone who stopped your problem, yes.
It’s not clear that it was the best fix possible,

it is clear that either he could not communicate well or doesn’t understand AC technology.

Sadly that's often the case where service engineers receive little or no formal training.

Then there's the standard BS book used to baffle the customer and extract as much cash from their pocket with minimum effort.

Some great comments in this topic. I particularly like "the unit must slope slightly to one side" to allow drainage.

Thai's can be quite imaginative when it comes to a lazy fix.

  14. Food for thought.

Our PCB wash tanks have inflow and outflow pumps which run continuously during process.

The outflow pump valve is restricted to X L/Min. The inflow pump is restricted to deliver less than the outflow.

This results in the tank slowly dropping its level if left in this condition.

To maintain level, a small electrically operated bypass valve sits in parallel with the inflow valve to increases inflow until a level switch is satisfied.

The control keeps the tank within approx 50mm level differential.  A high/low level alarm stops the pumps if control window is lost.

  15. The remote turns off the unit but will not turn it on.

If the remote uses a common on/off button read on.

The remote code sent to the unit is the same for both conditions. It is then up to the receiving processor to decide if it should turn on or off.

Conditions to turn on via the remote will be different to those for turn off. The processors might have developed a fault or got lost.

As mentioned already, check remote batteries are good then power cycle the unit AC supply for a few minutes to be sure the processor hasn't got lost.

Hitting the local on off button on the unit is very different to using the remote as it bypasses a lot of remote control decoding at the processor.

1 has a battery build in , other 1 just shuts down ( unless you buy UPS ) . The stable power supply both have build in , when removing the plug or dropping voltages ( this might happen in Thailand ) , 1 still keeps working and the other 1 just says no .

My old Dell tough-book has no battery my workbench PC has a UPS. Stable supply ??

Sorry, anyone using a huge heavy box dependant on stable power supply has no credibility.

Desktop PCs are the thing of the past.

Big small heavy or light, they all require a stable power supply.

When someone drops credibility bait, the results can be amusing.
