    known faults for either

I think they both lack manual gears and clutch ????

you need to be specific as to which models you are thinking of buying

    What costs are mandatory

Tax and insurance + a small first time registration fee + number plate fee + fee for going to the Department of Land transportation

(if you don't want to go yourself..I think you won't want to go yourself ???? )

+  if its financed they normally require "first class insurance" in addition to the mandatory insurance

    the roundabout is whole again

Good, now they need to either station police directing traffic at every junction of the roundabout 24/7 to stop idiots entering the roundabout without giving way to the right , or in other words to traffic that's already on the roundabout.. or

(would spoil the roundabout  visually but) put up very large LED signs with huge

"give way to the right" and roundabout instructional videos  playing for about the next 20 or so years  then  it might have a chance to become a fully functioning roundabout.

  3. Seems to me the more leaks you have the less vacuum you would have ?

the receiving tank could be full and  overflowing slowly  when it gets back down to the overflow level  toilet will flush ok for a while  then be full up again and almost flood the bowl.

And doesn't an International Driving Permit translate a foreign Driving Licence into ENGLISH.

Yes that's all it does..so if your licence is already in English an IDP is pretty useless !

certainly never needed it at the Chonburi Department of Land Transportation.

edit  English and a few other languages but not Thai.

And sell your vehicle and buy a Model T Ford!!!!!   No but seriously, I do music production on my PC, but the Program I use will only run on Windows, and by far best on Windows 10. This will apply to most 'professional' users. I tried Linux Mint and OK, I could get emails, surf the net, do simple Word and Spreadsheets, and that was about it. Agree about VLC, but will it run on Lunux or Ubuntu, I don't know, you tell me please.

    Yes VLC runs on Linux

So Im humbly asking if someone would spend some reasonably priced time with me to deal with this and another few annoying issues.

If you want someone to come to your house and sort it out  then it would help to say exactly where you are located ...eastern Thailand is quite big !

with the movie playing right click the mouse

    subtitle     add subtitle file

    vlc1.jpg.3394769e2b1820423366074cadf8370e.jpg

navigate to where the subtitle file is stored  and open

    vlc2.jpg.dd233d8d897c7b87f37d129ac123edad.jpg

if the movie and subtitle file are named the same  before the  . (extension)  then the subtitles should auto magically play.

for subtitle you can download them from www.opensubtitles.org
