You might want to redact that a bit better Dave....but anyway its the same as I posted above there is no mention on the certificate about a "purpose"And as I said. It's on the bottom of the one page application form.
So its obviously serving a purpose.
Be it to prompt the staff member to ask for the specific support information, or to be it printed on the actual form you receive.?
I cannot read thai.
Maybe someone is conversant with thai?
Interestingly I have certificates before done in English at Jomtien.
These are again in thai.

Believe it or not there is already a Pattaya train station....well in fact just a sign and strip of concrete..dont even know if the train actually stops there [emoji47]What will be the best location for such train station in Pattaya?

So as I said all along the certificate doesn't mention a "purpose" at all ?It's on the bottom of the application from.
Doesn't print on the certificate.
Unless it's in Thai.
But I had to have 2x
1 for sell car.
1 for buy another car. -

Neither would she want to drive around with a Nongbualamphu plate as she thinks that marks her out as a thick Isaan hayseed. Oh, well

gave the wrong one (because I can't read Thai) and the guy said "cannot use this one is for drivers license"
You got this certificate from Jomtien immigration ???
I posted a scan of one I got a few years ago got from Jomtien it makes no mention of drivers licence etc...this August there was still no mention of drivers licence...so if it mentions a "purpose"
now its something new from the Jomtien immigration.

I live right next to the railway line on the way to U-Tapao airport the line is not even dual track yet (dual bit stops in north Pattaya) let alone any sign at all they are building the elevated rail line
for a 250KPH train.... I would go for the cheaper "intercity 125" like they use in the UK

There are prepaid SIMs available with unlimited data.
https://oilinki.com/blog/1-year-unlimited-data-sim-cards-thailand
It would be better if you could get a high speed fiber connection instead of the mobile signal
( I suppose you live out in the middle of nowhere ? )
AIS have a TV service and free box bundle with its fiber internet http://www.ais.co.th/playbox/en/
ToT does too http://www.totiptv.com/
you can even watch these on a mobile phone, tablet or PC using a browser or phone app.
The other alternative is Satellite TV from surrounding countries but I imagine the costs would be higher.. Lao Satellite Tv package seemed reasonable with English language an Lao subtitles
or ASTRO Tv from Malaysia
given you need a large dish and to pay subscription and receiver/decoder..there are very few unscrambled English language channels left now.

Thanks for the map location...he's miles away from me ????

It says certificate is for,
Bank account or car / bike.
Where does it say that ?
The certificate I got in August makes no mention of using it to get a car/bike licence they did ask the purpose but it was not stated on the certificate...if a "purpose" is stated on the certificate now then its something new.

They can be recycled back to oil.

I think, the 2 of you don't really understand the term "convenience store"!
to go an buy a bag!
Don't need to buy a bag they give them to me for free...yes its very convenient not to have to remember to take a bag everywhere...and they are used as bin liners and soi dog/cat pooper scoopers and rain hat (but not in that order) so not single use bags anymore.

Yeah go home you inconsiderate persons who don't like going to a "convenience" store and being "inconvenienced" by them not having bags to carry your purchases home in !!! ????

I never use a straw for a can or bottle of pop. Why?
Because you like the taste of rat pee ???..or you go home and pour the drink into a glass..or you buy some throw away plastic cups at 7/11 and pour the drink into them to avoid using the straw.

Anyway.
Need the cars blue book or bikes green book.
In order to get certificate.
So another trip required.
That's new ! I wonder why they want to see blue/green book when the residence certificate only states your name, nationality, age, address, passport number, visa category and admitted till date...there is nothing on there about buying selling vehicles or opening bank accounts.so......????

I believe both elections he won where overseen by foreign observers..who reported the elections (mostly) free and fair ?Or, as a former leader said, "the United Nations is not my father". Not a fan of oversight either I guess.- 1

After the smokers maybe they'll go after the "faties" or those who are exercise shy...or eat to much meat...and not enough fruits and veg but probably it'll be alcohol.

Just name the item or service and she can find it for a better price.
Maybe because she gets the Thai (proper) price and you get quoted the Farang (inflated) price ?
