I'm sure that the premiums paid for this insurance policy is for the very basic one, leaving the injured party out pocket and car, I would have sued the construction company for better compensations and would have won.
Of course you would have won ????

Been problems with water in HH for years, much bulls#$t spoken during that time to resolve. They were building a resovoir up towards the Vineyards a few years ago and that was the resolution!! Not sure if it was finalised.

Perhaps not this old guy but others start to work illegally or commit crimes to get money. In any case these people don't care much about laws and regulations. No need to have them here. And for this old guy - there are other countries with warm weather. So there are still options left if he doesn't want to stay in the UK. And don't blame Thailand for their fate. These people are to blame.
Other than drunk and disorderly or drink driving, how many Brits resort to crime? Can only be a few at most.

Blood poisoning is a concern with this type of injury. Contractors should be fined.

Pesky foreigners making to look Thailand bad,yes that is one way of looking at it.
What is the problem?Nobody died yet and we have a "safety first" sticker
somewhere.
I just wonder if there are any government set guidelines and not just a few cowboys just winging it.
"Too old equipment should be replaced",yes but what is too old?
Heard today, Thailand has no regulations regarding Bungee Jumping!!

In fear for your life, running the guy over might have been the easier option!! For some anyway!! Sure someone waiving a gun at you is excuse enough.

I have an opinion on this.
Pieces of camel dung.
Quit Pro Quo.
And UK starts deporting the Thai prostitutes who marry gullible Brits and then divorce them as soon as they gain UK residency.
They then resort to growing weed, using massage as a " front" to sell sex etc.
Let's throw them out of the UK.
Touch of bitterness? Don't blame all for your misfortune!! Smart people control their lives not let others do it. Doesn't matter what country you come from or live in.

I see Sherlock Holmes and all his descendants have came out the woodwork to solve this crime!! The theories expressed are ludicrous. Let Plod do the work, get back to your Leo's you'll have a chance again soon to solve more crimes!!

Looks like you're making up your own story!! Did you attend the press conference with your measuring tape? Are you a converted farang hater? Did it say in the article who won the fight? NO, "get a life comes to mind "

You also have to look at the bigger picture, which is that 80% of the buildings don't respect the rules and the authorities let it happen, as long as they get their share of the cake. Very often you can see buildings built directly on the roadside, despite the 2-metre rules..., and stands encroaching directly on the rad
The result is that the roads cannot adapt. Such situations happen everywhere, every day2 metre rule? In which country do they exist?

Don't need health insurance but random checks to ascertain who has it!!
"Passengers who do not have health insurance coverage will be allowed to board the plane, but Thai officials at health quarantine checkpoints will conduct random checks for health insurance coverage. Passengers who do not have any will be advised, before entering the country, how they can get coverage"
They keep on giving ????

There is a metal shack that resembles a karaoke bar. I know the time because that is the same time our alarm is set to wake grandson up for school. But we never need the alarm and mostly awake from that awful racket. I am surprised nobody has complained and they having a visit from local B.I.B. They look like they could never afford a brown envelope, maybe that's why no B.I.B has bothered visiting them.
You could always make the call!!
