Ask Nigel Farage why he is married to a German. He has said many a time "He is not anti European but anti EU".
I want out of the EU because I don't believe we get value for money from our contribution fees when we have the biggest National debt we have ever had. I also support UKIPs view on cutting foreign aid.
I don't see that we benefit from the EU. If you want more info on UKIP visit their web site.
I will be voting to leave the EU.
I'm visiting London at this moment, most of the people I have come in contact with are what would be described as none native, personally I have no problem with that, they are very sociable and friendly plus they seem prepared to work.
However I support UKIP as it is their policy to control the boarders, in order to Only allow those people in who will be of benefit to the UK. One last point why are there 2 million unemployed, while these immigrants seem to have no problem gaining employment?
One word.
Benefits.

They evidently are more troubled by someone in Israel forgetting to flush the bog or fictional Islamophobia rather than address this or the 5000 killed every month in Syria alone.Where is the condemnation by TV's very own Muslim Brotherhood, who managed to fill 13 pages on a potential pork factory, but their silence on this page is deafening.
RIP Soldier.
More troubled by a potential pork factory in Petchaburi. 15 pages of protest.
Priorities, priorities, priorities.

See post #109.
It's alleged he helped radicalise the two Muslim converts who carried out attacks in Canada, as he did with the Lee Rigby killers.
Don't confuse him with facts and leave him to his ignorant bubble.

Working on the 1 : 5 principle, that equates to a sh!tload of followers in the UK.

Nicely put.
Scottish Troops Deploy To Afghanistan
Troops from the Royal Highland Fusilliers, the 2nd Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland, have left their barracks to start their tour in Afghanistan.More than 400 troops will deploy in two phases over the next eight months, in support of NATO personnel in Kabul and the Afghan National Army officer academy.A damning indictment of the inability of the Afghan's to be trusted to do anything.

Kindly quote where anyone has tried to rationalize or excuse murder. Otherwise you are just continuing to lie whilst engaging in blood libel to boot. You Israeli apologists really do your cause a disservice when you attempt to justify and rationalize away the murder of an 18 month old baby girl by Jewish terrorist fanatics.
Readers can clearly see how the "big lie" Israeli mindset operates.
End the occupation to prevent more of these atrocities. Israel will not get away with murder with impunity while the whole world is watching..
Just go back and read all the "Oh, well, the Palestinians are worse, blah blah.."
Not one Israeli apologist has condemned this vile murder.
Blood libel? Who are you trying to kid?
The fact remains that Netanyahu has finally admitted that Jewish terrorists are in action.
WOW....... Just WOW
Where are all the Muslims apologists who are MIA on the thread below ? I don't think I need to name them. They stick out like lighthouse in the dark.
The hypocrisy has just moved to a whole new level.
I do not believe that the guy has actually been convicted of anything yet. Don't let that stop you.

The president's office said 47 women and 33 children were among the casualties in that attack. The president's deputy spokesman, Zafar Hashemi, said about 40 of the wounded would remain hospitalized. It was unknown how the attackers smuggled a large amount of explosives into the heavily guarded city.
Still in denial.
A large % of the '' Guards '' are Taliban / Taliban supporters.

It does not matter whether they are Thai Muslims or not. This country is 95% Buddhist, and everyone living here should respect that.
Living in Thailand you should know Thai Muslims legally have equal right of peaceful protest.
You obviously did not read the article. The decision makers are proactively canvassing local opinion prior to making a final decision, why can't you respect the process?
Muslims have done nothing to earn my respect, either here or back in the UK.
Every fairminded person knows the truth about them.
Your respect or rather lack of for Muslims is irrelevant to the topic.
To make the statement in your last sentence I have a strong suspicion you have no actual experience with Thai Muslims.
Absolutely brilliant.
The rooster comes home to roost.
Your experience of worldwide Muslims is clear for all to see.
Those 50 Muslims who have a problem with a pork factory can go and take a running jump in the nearest klong.
-
Yes I can see they are Thai Muslims. What point are you making there?
When I say they should move on, what do you think that means in everyday language?
Why should they move on? It's their country.
What part of 95% Buddhist do you not understand?
It doesn't take the angry brigade long to start does it?
Are you aware of one of the fundamental duties of a muslim? I thought not.
Are you aware of the changes that muslims demand when they move into a country, society or district? I thought not. Please don't tell me I don't understand that we are talking about local muslims, I know that. I also know they are complaining about something that might happen in their community. I am also aware of their right to lobby against the factory. I am arguing about their reason for objecting to the factory.
It would help you and others to reflect on what I have said already and to read UN resolution 62/154. Once you have read that and thought about the duty etc of a muslim, you will understand my position.
By the way 95% is an underestimate of the proportion of Thai society that is Buddhist.
The fundamental duty of Muslims is to spread Islam.
I know what they demand.... It is not hard to see.
The Muslim community do not give a flying about any UN resolution.
Yes it is 98% and Muslims can go and play tig with the buses.

This is the point: They have a right to protest, they have a right to dislike something. Residents down South protested a coal-fired power station...that is their right to not want it....just as it is these Muslims right to not want this.
If you don't complain, you're going to get walked over...TIT. Good on them for complaining.
The valid points that they may have are contamination of the water, and contamination of the air from smoke.....or simply that they just don't want it.
I gather from the people that disagree with their right to protest that it is because they disagree with Muslims, period. They forget that it is everyone's right to protest, for whatever reason they want.
Of course.... Its good to protest in other Countries... Not so good in Saudi etc.
Water and Air quality in Thailand... What a joke
Be a good guy and go to Saudi and protest.....
50 people protest over a pig farm.... grow up belters

Sounds like the Catholic Church in the 70s and 80s.
I know that the Catholic Church had problems with Peado Priests.
I do not recall any price lists of children for sale.
Or throwing gays off tall buildings to braying mobs with piles of rocks to make sure they were dead.
Or loping heads off.
So what point were you actually failing dismally to make ?
One that seems to have struck a nerve with you.
Not struck any nerve with me.
What I find utterly amazing is that you find it something that you find rather amusing.
On top of that, there is actually a 2 watt lightbulb that agrees with you.

Sandy,
That is the link that I found the crap about S2P.
You are correct, my Service was between 89 & 03
BILL
My apologies Sir,
I gave you duff info.
My Pension provides 50% not 75% as I stated above. On checking my paperwork, I got my pension schemes mixed up.
If you want a redacted copy of my Oct 2014 letter, just let me know and I will forward to you.
Too many twists & turns. I had a feeling that I wasn't eligible but couldn't remember why. Had hoped you had come up with something I had missed.
Sorry Sandy.
Cannot help you. You have been sh@fted.

At no point did I say that the Greeks were not to blame.
I did say that whilst they are under the jackboot of the EU............
2 very different things.

Apparently a fairly well informed article on the prospects for the ANSF holding ground until 2017 below, subject to Afghan government political cohesion. Prospects for beyond 2017, a number of concerns have been raised.
http://thediplomat.com/2015/01/can-the-afghan-army-prevail-on-the-battlefield/
Is there any chance that you could provide practical experience ?
The Taliban are already running large parts of Afghanistan.
Many of the ANSF are already Taliban members.
And when the really hits, guess where they are going to side ? I will give you a clue. It ain't going to be with the Government and Government Forces

Bill,
I have a letter dated Oct 2014, In response to me asking if I married would there be a widows benefit attached to my pension. I am under AFPS 75.
The short answer was. Yes.
1. 91 days at full pension.
2. Then reduced to 75% of current rate at time of death.
There was no mention of any reduction due to age difference. For those that were on the Pre AFPS 75 pension. If you married after leaving, there was no widows benefit payable.
I also know an ex-Navy guy, and I only have his word for it, but it appears there is a vast difference between Army and Navy rates of pension.
I guess all 3 Services have different rules and regulations regarding pensions.
What you are saying can be found here under NON-ATTRIBUTABLE BENEFITS FROM THE AFPS
There are various clauses that need to be taken into account. This one rules me out, I left in Sept 77
• if you married after leaving the Armed Forces, only service given on or after 6 April 1978 will count towards your widow’s pension (this is known as a post-retirement widow’s pension).
