  1. Great, overpriced items and bread like featherlight chewing gum.

It's time for some bakery's like they have in Vietnam where you can get some delicious French bread.

Anyone knows a good French bakery in Pattaya ?

  2. >People over 50 most at risk of Covid-19 infection

Statistically yes, people over 50 are more vulnerable but only if their body defense mechanism is low.

Just keep your body in good shape by enough sleep, workouts, sport, walking, healthy food and a healthy way of living (don't smoke, use drugs or drink lots of alcohol) you minimize the risks.

Also regular sex is good for your body defense mechanism ????

  3. >Foreigners should not look down on Thais, he said. He said that he has lots of nice foreign friends.

    >But any racist foreigner is not his friend, he intimated.

So kindly saying I don't want a mask makes you a racist. There was no mention of "Ai Thai" by the foreigner however the minister said "Ai Farang", in other words "<deleted> farang".

Who is the real racist here ?  We all know.

    >Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul got a little miffed at Western tourists this week when several rebuffed the protective facemasks that he was personally distributing on a Bangkok street.

    >Anutin said the incautious farang should be reported to their embassies and expelled from Thailand. Asian tourists and especially Chinese were meanwhile happily accepting the masks, he said.

Yes, get rid of those pesky farangs until there are no farangs left and get some more Chinese & Indians.

Clear example of farang hate in this country.

Ok, I am all for people following the rules when it comes to visa, but at times must have compassion and common sense . Guy is the end of his life, clearly not well off , not a burden on society or government , most certainly not taking away any jobs or a criminal. How about being compassionate to find out why he overstayed, and perhaps fine him and offer some solutions instead of locking up and sending back as if he was some kind of international gun runner

We all know that most Thai people working for immigration or government are not aloud to use their brains, maybe also for the better.

So first you answer "I agree, story is riddled with holes."

Riddled with holes means there are a lot of points incorrect.

You come up with one point  "nobody at police station spoke English".

I mentioned that at that time (evening) there was only one older officer with no English skills.

If that person behind the desk can't explain in English the reason why he got that ticket then that person has no English language skills, neither did the officer who wrote the ticket.

    End off discussion
