  1. Your application for the METV multiple entry tourist visa will be DENIED unless you show PROOF of your flight departing Thailand within the 60 days you arrive They will issue you a SETV single entry tourist visa instead Read my prior post and pay attention to what Tod Daniels says.
  2. This question comes up often on Thai Visa Advice forum. Tod Daniels has posted this and if you follow his advice, you will get the METV multiple entry tourist visa. It's ONLY available in your home country. https://m.facebook.com/groups/thaivisaadvice/permalink/3671998313124011/?mibextid=Nif5oz
  3. This was POSTED on Thai Visa Advice forum on July 2nd by Tod Daniels https://m.facebook.com/groups/thaivisaadvice/permalink/3718329251824250/?mibextid=Nif5oz ATTENTION MEMBERS: Land border closures The Lao borders are open like normal The Cambodian borders are open like normal BUT we suggest you do NOT bounce out and back on your own (do so at your own risk) This is the update on Burma; The Mae Sai / Tachileik border with Burma in Chiang Rai is closed (they said for a week). The Mae Sot / Myawaddy border with Burma in Tak is closed as well. If you want to border bounce you can use the two borders with Lao in Chiang Rai province; Chiang Saen / Special Economic Zone <- where you cross in and out of Lao by boat across the Mekong or the Chiang Khong / Huay Xai border <- where you cross by bridge. Also the Phu Nam Ron / Htee Khee border with Burma in Kanachanaburi is still not open for foreigners to exit/re-enter At this time he only Burma border open is the Ranong / Kawthaung. This is provided as an announcement only. We are not going to let commenting on the post. You want to border bounce, post on a f/b group related to where you stay in thailand and ask. Believe me you're not the only foreigner in your area who needs/wants to bounce out and back.." And...AVOID POIPET BORDER CROSSING as it's VERY problematic for those who try. And... Mae Sai border crossing... It's STILL CLOSED ????
  4. And with your recent history of staying in Thailand, The New Thai Visa is not a guarantee you will be stamped in Thailand on arrival.
  5. Your mistake was not using an experienced border/Visa run service company to take you to Penang and return by land. Lucky to have been granted the New SETV single entry tourist visa in Penang. Don't Fly into Thailand... period. Only enter Thailand by land border crossing.
  6. KL will DENY the application for the tourist visa. Seeing ALL the recent stamps.
  7. Jomtien asks you to submit the application for the 30 days extension of stay during the last week of your current stamped ending date. Be sure you have a TM30 on file. They require it.
  8. It's still the Case... IF you have stayed in Thailand with many stamps, be prepared for denied visa. And if you get it, be prepared for questions from Thai Immigration Officers upon arrival
  9. The Thai Embassy or Consulate in SE Asia are strictly requiring you to meet All of the requirements for the Thai tourist visa as stated on their websites. NO leniency. Show the bank account statements as requested.. printed out and then you may get the visa.
  10. SORRY but the New passport trick will no longer work when you arrive into Thailand and the Thai Immigration Officers see all of your history of stamps for living in Thailand. Be prepared for questions and denied entry.
  11. The due date is what is important. Failure to file will result in a 2,000 Thai baht fine the NEXT time you use the Thai Immigration office for a service.
  12. Don't forget the Thai Immigration software now ???? you by facial recognition, fingerprints and links all prior entry and Immigration activity to any new passport presented
  13. Evisa Wil Evisa application Will be DENIED. Flights must leave the UK.
  14. Suggest you ask an experienced border run / visa run service company IF they will take you to get a NEW Thai Tourist visa...it appears doubtful that you can. But Ask them as they will know. https://www.thaivisaservice.com/
  15. Only can serve Max of 8 years. 4 Plus 4 for Trump
  16. Wise decision to go to Laos Thai Land BORDER crossing. Do NOT fly INTO THAILAND.. AVOID POIPET BORDER ENTRY... PERIOD
  17. Being issued a Thai Visa is no guarantee you will be able to enter Thailand. It's Up to the Thai Immigration Officer who greets you on arrival into Thailand to admit or deny you entry.
  18. Curious as to why Thai Immigration Officers questioned you at the Chiang Mai airport when all you wanted was to buy a re-entry permit. Did you obtain your extension of stay as retired STAMP from an AGENT... Who OBTAINED the STAMP from the JOMTIEN Immigration office. Though you reside in Chiang Mai. If so, that may have caught the eyes of the Thai Immigration Officers as you were flying from Chiang Mai airport. It's strange to have them question you. Glad you were able to get the Re-entry permit
  19. A friend obtained his LTR Visa a week ago.. His was #176... So it appears that there's many expats who do qualify. With the proof of US $80,000 income for recent 2 years being the way many are using to qualify for the LTR.
  20. Whatever you do... Don't fly into Thailand. Your history makes you a marked man. Enter only by land border crossings... Laos is Best bet for you... Good Luck ????
