    Had a look at two different weather checks today , both forecast rain , thunder etc. Nothing came , have not seen any rain this year , yet Ventusky and Weather Dock keep forecasting it.

    My first internet was dial up , took forever and dropped out numerous times a day. For some reason International calls coul not be made on our phone . So anytime I wanted to talk to family in the UK I had to go into the village . There was one lady who had the main shop in the village that had International calling. I don't know how she worked out the charge for the call , it was a bit high , but no other alternative.

    I just received a letter from UK Pensions , it arrived yesterday , the date on the letter head is the 13th March the post mark on the envelope is the 16th March. In the first paragraph of the letter it states " I must return the document within 25 days ". Yeh okay.

    I watched something a while ago , it was during the Industrial revolution in England and there was a Black guy playing a Wool mill owner in deepest Yorkshire.

    The BBC made a new series about Ann Boleyn , and cast a Black Actress to play her. There was some complaints about that in the UK . But if you don't like it don't watch it.

    There was a time when the was a Police officer or some sort of armed security out in front of the gold / jewellery shops. Maybe they thought it was an expense they could do without.
