    Used to stand in the Stretford end in the mid to late 70s. I thought Buchan was an intelligent player , liked to play the ball out . Wasn't as dominant in the air as Maguire but a hell of a lot better on the ground and at reading the game. He was , I don't know if he still is , the only player to captain English and Scottish F.A.     Christ has putting "gate" at the end of shenanigans come to Thailand. This terminology has to be the most irritating I have come across. It started with Watergate , not because there was a problem with water , the hotel / office complex was called WATERGATE . Are reporters just that lazy , that they cannot think of an original headline ?

    I think they were worried Shaw might not have been able to handle Mitrović , point proved on Fulham's goal by Mitrović . But if that was the case why was Shaw marking him from the corner which they scored from..... Maguire is more Mitrović's size , why wasn't he assigned to him..... Puzzler
