At last there is someone realising that these measures are counter productive .Even with high vax rates there are more cases (eg Gibralter).,prehaps the only solution is herd immunity? PS .I'm not a expert.

Went to bang sue on Thursday .Big problem for car parking, and traffic jams. Eventually parked well away from building and caught a motor cycle. At gate four I was told to go to qate 1 .At gate one they said go to another gate. Ended up at gate 2 .After queuing the process was fairly simple .A few more signs and instructions might help. There was a lot of people milling around not knowing where to go .Good once inside . Total time 2pm to 4pm

Thanks. Did I mention Sweden?
I think you said that lockdowns were necessary and used Sweden as an example of the disastrous consequences of not having a lockdown .

So far the lockdowns are not working . .over a year of restrictions have only seen the virus spreading regardless . Time to rethink and vaccinate.

These constant shutdowns seem to have no effect except to impoverish the population thereby the gov ability to provide adequate care .South America has got the Lambda variant (11) .I believe its inevitable that all will have in some form.Aus .restrictions from 1 case !

How long does it take to renew a passport ? Do i have to send it to uk ?

In all seriousness, after the current lockdown, I was not hearing anyone say the it would be back to normal this year. I wasn't hearing much of anything from official sources which is frustrating but I think most just used common sense.
Has to be beyond frustrating to be a business owner in Pattaya. Know a couple young Thais that started or took over businesses in the last few years. Heart goes out to them and hopefully their businesses survive but at some point I fear they will throw in the towel.
Seems like all small cash busineses are clised and 711 is opening more stores Mall are open too .Hmmm
