I have done that for several years now. No problem!
Nine years I did the same with my US taxes. But you do not deduct the income taxed.
You compute the taxes owed on the income, then subtract taxes paid here.

I have been in Thailand for 13 years. and never once have I been asked for a blue (or yellow) book.
No bank has ever asked for anything more than my passport.
With one exception.
When I created a new account for my social security deposits from the US, Bangkok Bank wanted more than just my passport. I needed to also show them my birth certificate and my US social security card. I believe this was a special case because of the US government making direct deposits into the account. Regardless, I did not need a blue book.

Yeah, it's gonna keep dropping. My recent experience at immigration renewing retirement visa only adds to my feeling that falangs are not wanted here. Grade A tourist, 15 yrs in, plenty of money, never a problem for the authorities and they are giving me the 3rd degree treatment like I'm a common criminal and they are just looking for something, anything to trip me up and give them their "gotcha" moment and out I go. One can only take so much of the abusive attitude here.
13 years of extensions: marriage (1yr), retirement (2y), work permit (9yr), and now back to retirement this year.
All done a Chaeng Watthana. Simple, efficient, never once an attitude or mistreatment. Never felt unwanted.
But, several times over the years, I have noticed periods of increased "scrutiny".

Of course, there are moving companies in Thailand. Storage as well.
But, as you might imagine, they are very "local" businesses, so it depends on where you are.
Here in Bangkok, I have been very happy with a moving company named "Good Move":
They have moved me three times, each time a townhouse full of stuff.
A little more expensive, but very professional.
Never needed storage, but considered it once and found many storage places online.
Again, in Bangkok.

Yes, a heavy Thai police presence has ALWAYS been a strong tourist draw.
These knobs really don't get it, do they?
Being met at the airport by a mob of uniformed police is the start of my fantasy vacation.

Visited a friend back in the US. He had what we call a "McMansion". Over spec-ed, overbuilt, semi-gaudy, gigantic house sitting on 20 acres of property. Across the paved street were a dozen more identical McMansions, albeit on smaller, perfectly manicured, lots. We were sitting on his porch, looking over the houses, and discussing how literally everything he might want to do was a drive of at least 30 minutes. Nothing within walking distance. He then commented, "Isn't this incredible?" I gave him the answer he wanted to hear, "Yeah, it really is." -- Boring AF all. I could not leave soon enough.
But. The truth is. He was genuinely very happy.

I think you misunderstand how 'deportation' works. This flight is not free!
Unless promised by the network... (yes, I also doubt that ^_^)

2 and 11 seem relevant. What is considered a petty crime? 2 years probation perhaps? But 11 might present more of a problem seeing that his offense involved money scams. Don't forget that money is god in Thailand.
#11 really hurts, because it does not even require a conviction: "involved ... directly or indirectly ... financial crime". That suggests one just needs to be involved with a crime, which is sounds like it describes the OP's situation exactly. Bummer.

For extension application for Non-O (Retirement purpose) 12 months :
The needed documents and papers are the same as the initial 3-months Non-O visa ?
The "supporting" documents are pretty much indentical.
The thing to note is that the documents you get from the bank need to be done on the same day.
So you need to get those again on the day of your appointment.

I think you misunderstood. The OP lives in Cambodia. The border crossings with Laos are no good to him.
Now I am confused. ^_^
The OP was posting for a friend in "Pak Chong" wanting to "border bounce to Cambodia".
It was @Yagoda that had the "Cambodian long term visa".
Correct?

And this is what happens when you start to hand out free money.

After 7 days, they can fine you up to 5.000 baht.
It is almost universally 2,000 baht, unless you pay the "not polite enough" tax.

And, after this stimulation, the economy will still be in a shambles, but with raging inflation. Good times!
