  1. I am really confused! Eversince the coup and despite threats by the military junta to eradicate vocational students fighting.....the cases of murders and shootings and brawls have actually gone up in the last two months. Whats going on? Who is taking responsibility and who is going to be moved to inactive posts? Or do we need to be patience as the are doing their best while more die and get hurt?

  2. Khun Natee should do a research paper and report about the criminals in Thailand's Police Force, Army and also Government Servants.....I think that the figures and extensiveness of these criminals would be shocking!

Just look around, prostitution and human trafficking is illegal....yet look at the number of so called "massage joints" around especially the big ones at Ratchada, Thonglor etc. Prirated movies are illegal yet look at all the roadside vendors everywhere in thailand selling them.....the list goes on.....

Yes, there are foreign scum coming to thailand.....but i am sure most are in cahoots with the local police, officals etc.

  3. I have a thai friend, a woman in who is 32, drives an e-class mercedes and is quiet well to do. Whenever we go out for together, I always find the latest english bestsellers in her car, when I asked her about the book...she does not know a thing about the contents. Later, I found out that a lot of thais will go to kinokuniya to buy the latest best sellers and leave in places like the car, their homes or offices to show other thais that they are well read! Can u believe this!

  4. Please check the car parks of some condo buildings like Ideo Mix Phahoyothin, The Rhythm Ratchada, the New Life At Ratchada,The Rhythm Huay Kwang ,Belle Park Rama 9, you will find a lot of new looking Mercedes Benz of various models, BMW 7s, Porches and other sport cars mostly parked there gathering dusts with strange looking red plates and other number plates that look fake and sometimes these cars are driven by Thai Chinese, China Chinese and Sinagporean Chinese and Korean characters that look suspicious.

  5. LPN is the best in terms of price points and after sales as they manage all the properties themselves. I have bought so many lpn condo projects as even the rental yields are great ...about 7 - 9 % returns.

Problem with LPN is that they always launch their new off plan projects to a selct few and very little media advertisisng and even, all that is in thai. Give you an example, for first phase of Onnut Soi 46 which was launched very quietly in January this year, for only blocks and C, the openning price for pre-sales started at Bt 790,000 for 22.5sqm. All the great units were snapped up in two days and after that , prices went up to Bt 880,000 which in the first week all were sold out. The units are now ready for take over. (9 months completion instead of the one year that they said). Current promotional prices for resale units are between 1,170,000 to the new listed price of Bt 1,300,000. Whereas phase two units for blocks A and B (already completed also) will be opened to the public in October starting at Bt 1,500,000 and phase 3, block E at Bt 1,600,000 for the same 22.5sqm. I own a lot of LPn properties ie Ramkhamheang 26 and 40, Pinklao, Rama4 etc....excellent management as LPN as a proper system plus there are strict with people who break rules ie littering in common areas etc.

Pruksa, seldom manages the condo after a sell out and leaves it to 3rd parties, always a mess. Simply see the LPN properties at Suthisarn, Saphan Kwai, Pinklao...even after years, the building exterior, common areas etc look great not the same for Pruksa and even Ideo which is in a diffrent price bracket but so badly managed.

Not sure that there is any new projects this year by LPN for new condo projects off plan though and units available in the current inventory are already too expensive. You have to keep a good look out. Their site in English is hopeless (deliberately done I think!)

  6. Ok ....really...India is a nice place but there is great diversity. If you are planning to spend about a month...start with madras but later go to bangalore(bengaluru) and also visit Madurai...lots of beautifil temples at the beaches etc. Can u PM me your email...I will email you a list of places that you should not miss.

  7. Curious...will they assist and provide help to foreign expats and foreign tourists or only thais? Please clarify clearly. The Tourists Police here is does not assist foreigners only thais when there are disputes or problems involving foreigners like in the case of jet ski scams, the tourists polices "help" by telling the foreigners how much to pay to the Thai Jet Ski scammers!

  8. If you guys think that CR has a problem...come to Phayao. Its a joke. My unfortunate better half invested in shop houses in the city side and around Kwan phayao and also bought houses in the city and also at Dok Kham Thai etc. Thank God I put most of my monies in Bangkok that gives me good returns but my better half invested more than 75 milliom baht into properties in Phayao. Beautiful 4 storey shop houses in prime locations that now only command a rent of Bt 4,ooo per month (despite him buying it for about 3.2 million baht 8 years ago.) cannot even find renters and forget about even renting out residential properties.

Yes, land prices keep on going up as the locals keep on jacking up the prices...but no one is buying.

In Dok Kham Thai where a lot of monies came in thru the girls selling themselves in the past, the incidence of people dying from AIDs is so high plus a lot of properties are now with the banks. Really a province with no more potential.

  9. Hmm...u said from from the African continent...well why not do some charity there instead...millions are dying there in Africa and those that are not ...are committing online crimes or are into drug trafficking. Help educate them of their wrongdoings. Thais are basically ok and can handle themselves. I really think in this case...charity begins at home.....food for thought.

  10. Huh! I though that our Supreme Protector, Prayuth said that problems involving these garbage vocational institute students were already solved. Please can someone take responsibility and be moved to an inactive position.

Also, why not just close all these vocaitional institutes and send all the acdemic staff and students to duty in the South in maintaining peace there. (chuckles!) . Let them deal with the Islamic Separatists there which the army has to date for years still unable to control the situation.

Oh God......when will things really change for the good in Thailand??????

  11. I always find it so funny whenever I see ads online selling businesses....common if a business is really profitable and making money ...who in the right mind would sell it...yeh...most of them simply say excuses like relocation or someone of sick...gimme a break. Why buy a business that is losing...simply start something new and innovative instead of buy an existing business that is rubbish.
