That gofundme page is getting a serious workout from tourists who can't be bothered with insurance.
Yeah but even if he had insurance and was on a bike there is a chance he wouldn't be insured and definitely not if he wasn't wearing a helmet. Go Fund Me - Digital Begging

Yes, Thailand and the Thais lack of any regular adherence to their own laws tempts all of us, from all nationalities to follow suit.
hahaha how funny...that's the excuse...sorry I don't wear a helmet or whatever because so many others here don't so why should I. The old 'when in Rome' is just DUMB!!!

How funny...and to think he wasn't going to get caught.

Yeah they are scary but if you are riding that far (or in Thailand) on that bike higher visibility saddle bags and clothing could help. (although some say 'Hi Vis' gear is like having a target on your back). At least he survived and will fly home.

The 'Speed Swede' Freddie is a great guy, amazing athlete and it's so good to see him get the win in Phuket.

Interesting how the kids weren't even meant to be on the road. This country is full of hypocrisies. They, the Police and Parents allow their children to ride on the roads, without a license, no protection and 3 or 4 on the one bike. When something goes wrong, and it always does, the driver is to blame. Grow up Thailand, if you actually loved your Children you would protect them but you do NOT. RIP to the kid who passed away.

Maybe someone who had a bad influenza as a kid? I don't know.
They aren't called Bloggers anymore mate. Influencers are people, celebrities or regular people, usually good looking ones who have lots of followers on Social pages. They say something is good or hold a product in a shot and they get paid, sometimes a lot of money depending on the amount of people following. I personally have no influence over anyone and have very few followers ????

Is it 6 months for every gram or something like that. That's lot of time.

Very sad that he wanted everyone to see the way he ended his life. RIP mate.

Um...Thailand has many black people, brown and light brown and yellow people. What he was told about 'frequently' visiting isn't new and it happens all over Asia and the rest of the world. It's called 'stay out period' once a Visa or many have been issued then person from a particular Country has to 'stay out' for a certain amount of time. I'm the minority white here, I was in China too. That's how it is bro!

SERIOUSLY, "waiver of visa fees for travellers from 22 nations" Are they kidding. Any 'quality or genuine' tourist isn't going to worry about a few Baht for a Visa.

In reality the only people interested in £/baht rate internationaly are the Brits in Thailand. Me being one of them. In the bigger picture it's not that important.
Actually it's important to business here. Many Brits travel here or decide on other locations based on the exchange rate. 40% of our business comes from the U.K. so as far as we are concerned the stronger the £ the better for our business. The US currency is irrelevant to our business as we don't attract Americans but I can see it would before other businesses here that target the U.S. It's all relative to where your business is coming from. In my opinion.

Sounds like Jordan needs to put its people first and lock it down. I'm sure there will be dramas...

Yeah that makes sense...come to Thailand and do everything you wouldn't do at home and expect it to be alright. Phew, so typical.
