  1. He wasn't, but that's what he said according to the international press.
  2. You are correct. It was reported in the international press that Prayut had said it.
  3. That is the Thai Buddhist mantra but I doubt you are a Buddhist. Accident no happen if you not there ......
  4. McAnna was allegedly penniless when he fled from Koh Tao. How else could he have set himself up in Milan? You do the math. He never fingered the two Burmese because he's on record as saying they were scapegoats. How David Miller was ever friends with him is beyond me. He was (allegedly) dealing drugs on KT and had a child pornography conviction (proven) back in Scotland.
  5. "so you ignored the part where i said he slept in the open, not seemingly too scared of so called mafia!" Sean told everyone who would listen that he spent the night in the jungle hiding from the "mafia". You are right about one thing though, he is full of s**t.
  6. Spot on! Those of us who have followed this case since the beginning recognise some of the posters who were around at that time.
  7. It was the Daily Telegraph who got Sean McAnna off the island and video-interviewed him whilst he was leaving. Sean was photographed shaking hands with the Koh Phangan police chief (I forget his name) on Koh Tao and one can probably conclude from that that he was paid off in some way to leave. How else would he have been able to set himself up in Milan and start a new life? Yes, McAnna has been, and remains a suspect.
  8. The biggest smirk is coming from Somyot, the police chief in charge at that time. He has since been exposed for receiving vast amounts of money from nefarious sources (all well-documented in the press if you care to do your research).
  9. Correct. This is Keane Mulready-Woods who was 17 when he was murdered. Police release Photograph of Teenager, Keane Mulready-Woods, who was Decapitated and Dismembered in brutal Irish Gangland Murder - Lucipost More information on the murder in Belfast of one of those suspected in the killing of the teenager. These people mean business. North Belfast: Murdered man was 'suspect in teen's killing' - BBC News
  10. He already is according to the news reports.
  11. It was a pretty gruesome murder.
  12. Those who need to know, will know their names. You can be sure of that.
  13. Anyone with access to British TV and is currently watching the drama "Kin" on the BBC will know that this isn't far-fetched at all. The Irish know a thing or two about gangland crime and family feuds.
  14. True. I forgot you have to ask for the "restroom" when you mean the toilet.
  15. Upper class Brits call it the lavatory. Lower class Brits and Americans call it the toilet. And if you are old-fashioned and pedantic, it's called the WC (water closet). Chavs call it the bog.
  16. I didn't know THAI Airways was a low-cost carrier.
  17. More likely an excessive amount of booze.
  18. The article says the pilot had considered diverting to Dubai.
  19. You won't. They are supposed to be anonymous. However (from Wikipedia) ...... Singapore Airlines deploys sky marshals on its flights. Such members are armed with firearms loaded with special ammunition and dart-firing stun guns. Members are usually from either the air marshal unit, the security command or the special tactics and rescue (STAR) of the Singapore Police Force. Members have undergone extensive training to enable them to operate effectively within the confines of an aircraft.
  20. My husband who used to work in the airline business for many years told me that some airlines carry handcuffs or cable ties to restrain unruly passengers, and in one instance, straight jackets! In this incident, a straight jacket would have been warranted.
  21. Further information on this incident is reported in Vice News. "Two days after the incident, at Koh Samui District Court, 43-year-old Israeli national Eliran Alias, was found guilty of assault and also confessed to his crime. But Alias was handed a one year suspended prison sentence and a 2,500 Thai baht ($70) fine. Despite the court ordering his deportation, sources told VICE News that Alias is still holidaying on Koh Samui, the island next to Kho Pha Ngan." I find this totally unacceptable. This man has (allegedly) a criminal record back in Israel for assault and violence against women. The girlfriend of the victim had a lucky escape. A Brit Nearly Died Defending a Woman in a Thai Bar. His Attacker Was Fined $70 (vice.com)
