A bit late to the party but I'm pleased to confound the doubters by confirming that having had stamps transferred to my new passport on 23rd January I then utilised the online 90 day report site on 26th January and was approved.
just recieved a rejection for my 90 day report on my new passport. i got the visa transferred over easily enough and am currently under consideration for visa extension, waiting for approval. They even stated that previous notification not found.
i guess i ll be going to CW next week sometime ????

i remember the PDRC protests that preceeded the last coup. During Sutthep's "copy and paste, same as every night" speeches , one of his complaints against the "Thaksin regime" was rampant nepotism and cronyism.
Unbelievable!!!

exactly - my son is 15 and most of his classmates have top model I phones purely as a status symbol.
30+k on a device to play games and send silly messages to each other.
I gave him 5k for a phone as a new year prezzie - he added to that with his own savings and got a 9k phone.

And tell me with a serious face that there isn't and never was corruption in your country's police
The mob comes to mind as well as policians that owe their wealth and status to other countries or people lobby groups of shady businesses
It's just so much more blatant here than in my own home country.

A staggering silence from the Thai government and it's PM....!
not really true - Prayut did say that there were "a few rogue cops" but most are good. 555

n old colleague, he was in mid 60s at the time, remarked that he would rather be happy and die younger than miserable and live longer. he had terrible eating habits - breakfast was 7 11 sausages for example. He died aged 70. i assume and hope he was happy!

In the video interview, Anutin also invites Chinese people to visit Thailand, saying Chinese and Thai people are like family.
Anutin said, “I am grateful to every Chinese tourist for not forgetting Thailand. I believe that the love of Thai people for their Chinese counterparts is akin to a familial bond. Every Thai person is waiting to welcome Chinese tourists with open arms.”
to quote an earlier report!!

The Brandenburg Concertos, in my humble opinion, are for beginners. Then, you can branch out to organ and harpsichord, and then to solo cello.
never listened before - ive been finding my feet with classical music a little since my old man passed. Sundays. Ive started waking early and have been experimenting, shall we say. Early morning with coffee and the news is now my favourite time of day - recently accompanied by the Four Seasons and the Pastoral Symphony - so a big thanks for widening my world this morning .

It was The World According to GARP, John Irving.
i have enjoyed reading John Irving - a Prayer for Owen Meany being one of my favourite books,
A lot of his books always have an undercurrent of sexual abuse in them however. slightly strange.
I believe Irving himself was abused as an adolescent.
