that would be the way,and bet he would be a popular a..hole back in Switzerland too

Exactly. Talking to one's imaginary friend might be construed as a sign of mental instability, but call it religion and call the "friend" God, and it becomes OK !
IMO, religion (ALL of them) are the world's biggest conspiracy theories
my religion is -don't let someone tell you you have to go out killing people- don't rape women- don't molest little kids- don't thieve., and be honest. Most nowaday religions are just money-making businesses

Religion, probably worst disease man has encountered. I do though respect and agree with the words of the Buddha though

I have always thought thai girls have some of the most beautiful skin i have ever seen. Covering that beauty up with tattoos is a damn shame in my book....and yes i know it's their skin.
I go along with that and all the OP says, have seen plenty of beautiful Thai girls with tats spoiling their perfect skin and looks. Seen a few ugly ones too who have gone and made themselves uglier.

Wherever you go there's thousands of abandoned buildings and new ones being built alongside. I would say around 40% of all types of buildings in Thailand are abandoned

And I flew from Vietnam to Bangkok in 1967 for R&R when the Pros. were going for 100 baht for 24 hr. not per night, does anyone want to hear more?
And when my first of many trips from Saigon to Bangers in 1966 saw Singha at nearly a buck a bottle was frightening

What happens if the Photo enforced camera citation is never received at the individuals residence. I understand they will send them by certified mail, but sometimes items never truly arrive.
I just got my only ticket in over 40 years of driving in LoS by snail mail., camera had me on some forbidden white lines. Went to Krungthai bank immediately and paid the B500. Good boy yes ?

I watched the fire from its begining from my condo of the time at the south end of the beach road. The choppers arrived pretty quick and did a great job plucking people off the roof and dropping them on the beach.,I think 3 choppers from memory.

I'm 100% against any kind of religion, but I'll keep that to myself when not online.
Priests........all those rapes. murdering kids. happens everywhere. and for hundreds of years.
no words. there isn't a solution to this. even if you killed everyone, the new batch of humans would do the same.
probably the worst disease ever known

Will be interesting if this topic stays for awhile and we get updates on how things are looking for border runs

It is also known as the Ban Laem crossing and it is open.
A visa run company has been doing the runs 3 times a week from Bangkok to there for some time now.
Thanks for that Joe, I have been doing that run for a few years, before covid.,had a Cambers boys ph number there, he handled all for me but his phones dead now. Hope all's the same and not need to stay on the other side for a day or 3.

To be fair all religions are utterly corrupt........when you have to pay huge sums of money NOT to go to a place that doesn't even exist and more to GO to a better place that also doesn't exist....I think the Catholic church has to take first place.
aint that the truth

My Vigo has been longing for me for 2 years and a lovely gal drives it around a bit every 2 weeks., it is parked under a screened park. Last week she sent me photos of cracks in all tyres, even tho 2 of them were damn near new just before I departed LoS for covid lockdown.

I, civilian, started coming from VN in 1966 and then every 6 months or so till 1972., all pretty quiet really, Pattaya very small and quiet. Since that time came in from Singapore every 3 months or so till starting work in BKK, Rayong and other areas in 1981. A hell of a lot of change in the countries' layout but the sex scene always there., thankfully., just more of it now.
