  1. Not yet but I do not think it will be very long before they start.
  2. My wife went out in Soi Buakhow to get some on Sunday morning. 7/11 were sold out so she went into a pharmacy. The robbing barstewards were charging 110bt so it appears it does not make any difference if you are Thai or farang as far as what you are charged. I ordered some from Lazada 59bt
  3. Submitted my 90 day report to Jomtien IO at 8.49am this morning. Received an email at 12.52am saying approved. The email also had an attachment which shows my new date ( 16 03 2022 ) which you can print off and stick in your passport. BTW I was one of the lucky ones who never had any problems with the '' old '' system which I had been using for years.
  4. DLT Smart Queue is the app to use for non Thais although the list of DLT offices are in Thai so you will need a translater. I booked an appointment for Banglamung DLT in September and the earliest date I could get was 1st Eebruary.
  5. If you use forgot password option, you can create a new password to whatever you want.
  6. Tried to register on Friday but the password email never arrived. Clicked on the forgot password option today and an email arrived in my junk mail immediately. Clicked on the link in the email and reset my password ( even though I never received one) and it worked. Logged in a few times to test it and it seems to be working for now.
  7. I agree there used to be many but for some reason they have all but disappeared now. It just seems strange as all the other banks are well represented on the streets apart from SCB??
  8. It does not make any difference to me. It was just an observation that there are no SCB atm's on the streets of Pattaya compared to other banks who have loads. The only one I know is on 3rd road.
  9. Where do you get claustrophobic from??? I can use any atm as well. My point was there are no SCB atm's on the streets of Pattaya compared to the other banks who have many!!! Why is that? The only one I know is on 3rd road.
  10. Did you not read my post???? I am talking about stand alone SCB ATM's on the soi NOT ATM's at supermarkets or malls. Tell me where the stand alone SCB ATM's are on the streets of Pattaya? I only know of one on third road!! Of course there are loads at the 7/11 shops but NOT from SCB which was my whole point!!
  11. The only stand alone ATM that I know is on 3rd road. The rest are at branches or supermarkets.
  12. They should invest in more ATM's especially in Pattaya rather than wasting billions on a food app. There are virtually no stand alone ATM's on the streets. I only know of one on 3rd road. You have to visit a bank branch or go to Big C for an ATM. Not like the other banks who all have many stand alone ATM's on the streets of Pattaya.
  13. Neetha Schendran Nair (TransferWise) Oct 24, 2021, 4:23 GMT+2 Hello David, Thanks for getting in touch! When you send money with us, we use our Thai banking partners to send out your money locally. It doesn’t cross any borders, so it doesn’t show up as a foreign transaction. However we have added the tag to route your transfers to Bangkok Bank. But this tag does not work 100% of the time. There are unforeseen scenario where a certain partner might be facing a technical issue and the system will route the payment via another available partner to ensure same day delivery. Please note that there is a chance that your payment might not be paid through your desired payout partner. Guide to THB transfers Let me know if you have any questions. Regards Wise Customer Support This is the reply I received from Transferwise regarding my enquiry about international transfers. They way I see it it is purely down to potluck if your transfer shows as international or not which is no good for me. Consequently i will not be using wise anymore and will just take the hit using my UK bank. At least it is guaranteed to show as an international transfer.
  14. Yes, I sent them an email yesterday afternoon, still waiting for a response.
  15. I have already sent another transfer via my UK bank, at least that way it will guarantee showing as an international transfer. This has also happened to other members on here and as you say the situation is worrying. Having said that the difference was only 850 baht so I am not going to lose any sleep over it, was just annoying as it is the first time it has happened to me.
  16. Yes this is the option I used and for the very first time they did an internal transfer.
  17. This is the option I used yesterday to send the money to my Bangkok Bank account. Unfortunately for the very first time, Wise did an internal bank transfer via Kasikorn Bank
  18. I just did a Wise transfer yesterday using '' funds for long stay '' and for the very first time they did an internal transfer via Kasikorn bank. This is no good for immigration as it has to be an international transfer. Had to do another transfer via my UK bank to guarantee it shows up as an international transfer. The two amounts were exactly the same and the difference was around 850 baht. I will just have to bite the bullet with the difference and use my UK bank for future transfers.
  19. The Thai version is exactly the same as the UK version and both are Oxford Astrazenica made to the same formula.
  20. I stand corrected. My stepdaughter got her first Pfizer jab yesterday at Udon Thani and returns on 28th for her second jab.
  21. My stepdaughter is getting jabbed today at Udon Thani As far as I know they are only getting one Pfizer jab, the same as the UK kids
