The whole bungalow area was closed for police investigation for 2 days and the owner did not give the bungalow for anyone in that time. There was a new booking for her room and the owner relocated her to new resort because the room was UNDER POLICE INVESTIGATION.
False accusations are highly against the law in Thailand.
On Koh Tao is about 20 police, Koh Tao rescue team and many others involved who can proof that the bungalow has been under investigation for 2 days and not given to other customer after 15 minutes like you stated.
This kind of event is very tragic for everyone involved, especially for the family of course. This kind of false accusations are extremely disrespectful and truly unnecessary.
My deepest condolences to Christina´s family, may her soul rest in peace.

As someone mentioned while we discussed these horrid times to our home wich is Koh tao ,murder island as meny of you likes to call it.
He put it well, no one knew where Koh tao is before and now everyone does.
So please continue to make up stories, it has actually worked even bad as it sounds islands benefit.

Tell you what find another island with such a small population that has as many people die on it as Koh Tao.The worst thing about this beautiful country is the foreigners who loathe Thailand, but insist on living here for some reason. (Cheap sex?) You can see them at almost every topic, they can find a reason to bash Thailand for almost anything. And being part-time crime solvers, those chaps are quick to produce conspiracy theories about unsolved deaths.
One of my favorite quotes is from Bertrand Russsell: "The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt."
And you can see that exactly in action here, while the intelligent are full of doubt, questioning everything, not making quick judgements, stupid are cocksure that there's a mysterious crime wave going on at Koh Tao and they don't hesitate to label a generally peaceful place as "Island of Death" and scare away people thinking of going there. Of course, by doing that they don't care about the damage they are doing to the Thailand's tourism industry, because they loathe Thailand anyway. They claim they are doing this "to stop future murders", but I don't buy this at all. That is just another expression of their hatred for Thailand, their need to label Thailand as a scary place to be.
P.s you will also find most here are full of doubt, and the so called intelligent are 100% sure.
And no I don't care about the damage being done to the tourism industry. But I can assure you more damage is being done by those that live on said island than those that talk about it.

It should be noted that the first article only mentioned that it was a suicide, however someone downloaded one of the picture and zoomed in on the hands clearly tied behind the persons back...this info was send to CSILA and A.D, later more pictures from the scene were posted on CSILA ...only after this did the articles mentioned that hands tied behind the back....
It was originally solved as a suicide..until social media hit on it.. ( TV was late ;-) )
I shall not go into details of the pictures, only mention that if was in a civilized country, with the clearly visibly indications, this person would have been cut down and CPR/ Resuscitation tried..
To me it does not look like a suicide ( even if all Koh Tao friend may claim so )
