Similar thing happened to me three years ago when i was given someone else's papers. I've also had my name spelt wrong on many occasions on Bank Letters and Bank Books even after it's taken them half an hour to produce them and three different people involved. Naturally it takes another half an hour to rectify things, no apologies, only giggles. Thai Banks are the most inefficient i have ever come across anywhere on The Planet !
Same in all walks off life hear .if your mum dad or family work at a bank you get a job if your dad is police so are you .no matter what your education

The Thai Baht is down 10% in the last 6 months against the USD, EUR and GBP.
Needs to go a lot further to encourage tourists from USA and Europe

Well Anutin ! Your time is a complete waste of time, as you seem incapable of these tasks assigned to you as then Health Minister. You are just not delivering on your remit.
Time for you to take a vocational change, and maybe find some employment that you will be capable of doing well.
Good luck with that.

I don't get why he 'has' to go to Norway. There are various options to be vaccinated here, especially at his age. Many governments are not vaccinating their own people abroad. As an 'elderly' Brit I have been vaccinated by the Thai government
Where ? Me and other expats in tak have been trying for months but get the same response thai people first?and we are all 70 plus with heath issues.

Fully vaccinated or with one jab. If they think one jab will do, well then why make the arriving tourists have two, and PCR test so many times with having to show a pre-paid receipt for those tests prior to a COE being given....Test all of those people in Phuket the same number of times and call it even....

Why don’t they team up with a company and produce it locally? It would be more efficient, and cheaper. Even a government full of halfwits could sort that out. Oh wait……
Last year AZ gave them the copyright to produce their vaccine in Bangkok but he ho still awaiting that one.

If this means they have all just had 1st dose of sinovac, they will need to keep going until 70% have had 2nd dose. Sinovac not that great until 2nd dose
That's very good but what about the thousands who will come from all over Thailand once it opens up to tourists no way this will work it should be all or nothing .

Exempt no but common sence should prevail in these uncertain times .a quick reminder and a stern warning and sent home would of suffice plus that would go a long way with police and people bonding.now it's all over the news and social media .not sent out the right vibes for future tourism has it

Good to know, we are below Thais but above the homeless/tramps
Once you name a race or nationality of a person it becomes a racist remark .why not same as UK USA Europe and other countries do it by age and medical conditions not us first you next .they will never change and never learn .to say this is letting the Thai population it's ok to be racist .in today's political climate if they want to be respected as a nation going forward this has to stop

It's still a third world country I live in the north and people hear are still living in wooden huts with tin roofs and no running water . tourism just paints over the real situation in the lives of most Thai people

Important word in that statement is procured ! Not delivered, and not in the arms of people.
Honestly cannot see Thailand opening this year with these people currently in charge of vaccine purchase and roll out
At least 1 years behind the rest of Asia and no chance or inclination to catch up .the writing is on the wall for the long term recovery of Thailand if ever.

555, I don't believe one word this man says, its all propaganda to keep the population quite, and make them think the government is doing something,
They have been negotiating deals with vaccine manufacturers for a year now, according to them, and yet we get a dribble of deliveries, and the proof is that only 1% of the population has been vacciated todate, this Government is pathetic, and either hasn't got the money to purchase vaccine or doesn't want to spend the money on the population...
Spot on could not agree more at the bottom of the pile for administering vaccine .at the top of the pile for death and destruction on the roads .
