depends which state you drive in too i have to go to missouri and that state requires an IDP to drive but the rental company will rent a car like in thailand the dont even check for motorbike licence but yet still rent you one

that's what comes of being a tourist. one the should not get a bank account of get a Thai driver license unless you are on the elite visa that is an over rated tourist visa. there are rules so follow them and stop giving tourist a bad rep

After talking to Siam legal. Your visa not you date of your extension dictate how long you can stay in Thailand. So my advice to either apply for a new visa or pay for a new elite visa.

More confusion to be added. My actual stamp excise Oct 26th 2025. Just went to my local immigration office and they grated me a 365 day stay because my membership doesn’t expire u til 1st March 2026. If I stay past my stamp expires can I get fined and blacklisted. Elite is tell me I have to go either out or the country or go to Bangkok to Affix a new sticker. And I don’t have plans to do either.

kind of sucks because i have over 2 years to go on mine TE visa before i can switch to a retirement visa which is onlt good for one year ata time but can get a 5 year DL on it but not on a TE visa thats good for 5 years

it depends how you send it. if I send pay for services it takes seconds. sending it for long term stay it takes me like 2 to 5 days

which reason are you using. I can pay for service and it goes in 20 seconds if I use long stay reason it taks like 3 days

also does it allow you to spend that money right

so doing it the way you sandpit done the reason of long stay and when you go to immigration they will except it. remember one thing wise just recently started excepting direct deposits from SSA in 2022 they did not because I was going to do that. the bottom option funds for long stay and this will work with immigration when I get a letter from the bank showing min 65,000 baht a month. I won't need this for another 2 years but I am stilling would like to know please.

nut its an account with no ATM card and you go and transfer to your bank account with an ATM right what type of account is this because I need to open one when I switch to a type o retirement in two years

what about using the account to verify your income for immigration
