Why are they annoyed its what their country is most famous for and this "Activity" is actually promoted by their elite (So they don't have to pay DSS to the poor they can keep all for themselves so they can make multi billion dollar property investments in Europe (Dito Malaysia)) and just tell them in the "Next Life" you will be better and along with their Luk Thep dolls they believe this shit - Idiots where is your brain?

The population in Thailand should follow this advice.
Works for me.
Mosquitoes: they’re a pain in the ass and they know exactly when to turn a perfect al fresco dinner party into their own feast, starring your guests as the main course. Try and try as we do, we can’t seem to rid ourselves of the mosquito problem, even when there seem to be an endless list of remedies and solutions, from sprays to tiki torches to citronella candles. What if I told you that warding off those winged pests could be as easy as drinking a cocktail? Though it may sound preposterous, science suggests that those apertif pisco sours are good at more than just whetting your appetite.Carbon DioxideIn general, mosquitoes are drawn to humans by the carbon dioxide (CO2) we exhale with each breath. Research has shown that the more carbon dioxide you exhale, the greater the chances that you’ll attract a swarm of hungry mosquitoes, though the exact reason isn’t entirely known. The question is: Does alcohol affect CO2 exhalation? Theoretically, yes. As a depressant that lowers excitability in the body, alcohol may relax the body, as well as the diaphragm muscle, enough to actually reduce overall CO2 exhalation by causing you to breathe less heavily than if you were active or exerted. Decreased exhalation may not make you invisible, but it should help.
Sweat- To the cute girl across the table, the smell of sweat could be a turn-off. To a hungry mosquito, however, sweat is like an aphrodisiac. What attracts them is the smell of the lactic acid excreted in your sweat, but chances are good that if you’re enjoying an ice-cold cocktail you’re probably sweating less. Load up on the ice and stay cool.
Thiamine (Vitamin B1) Perhaps the most compelling piece of science that may suggest drinking alcohol can help to repel mosquitoes is the effect that alcohol has on thiamine levels in the body. Have you ever noticed that B-vitamins have a distinct smell? That, my friends, is the smell of thiamine, and although some happen to like the scent, mosquitoes do not. In the presence of alcohol, free-thiamine levels in the bloodstream are increased, due to the body’s inability to incorporate it into its coenyzmatic form, thiamine-pyrophosphate. For this reason, alcohol is considered a thiamine-antagonist. With all that extra free-thiamine in circulation, your common mosquito could be more likely to bite the poor soul sitting next to you who decided to fly sober for the evening.
so in other words getting pissed in this case will actually save your life.

In Thailand its the opposite the crims go free and your "Lawyer" who is supposed to be an honest person with integrity???
"Only his lawyer ....... in jail"
I wonder if some of those bars were owned by foreigners, if so hope they have learnt their lesson about doing business in Thailand where things can change quite quickly to your detriment without notice.
-
Yea maybe it can be done, but why bother because if you cant own the land 100% in your own name and sell it to whoever you like at any time, from where I am standing your money is at high risk. RENT its bloody cheap enough and enjoy your life knowing that you can "Flee the scene" (As a tenant) if there are any "Little problems" dealing with Thais and their debts, way of doing business etc

Believe what you like as long as I don't have to pay for it.

Absolutely revolting - Another product of Islam another hollow religion just like Buddhism
-
"shot the man three times as he tried to escape" = murder not self defence. It would be self defence if he was shot in the act of attacking his brother not after the fact.
-
This is Buddhism my friend and they wonder why they are so poor (In all respects).

Hospital beds?

This is tantamount to printing money - you'll see!
You cannot just force the price, eventually the market will correct itself and then there will be hell to pay. What they should have done is let the price be as it is and provide say tax rebates (ohh I forgot either no one of the farmers pay taxes or they dont have the IT systems to do this sort of thing) or other incentives but only after a period of time say at tax time.

where is a pic of puss?

boot on the other foot I am sorry to say

"One more?" - i.e. the only response you get from a Thai who is selling alcohol

It must be a British thing. I remember my housemate in the UK said "Ohh I left it in the wash" so he had to get a new one. In the 20+ years of travelling I have done have never lost my PP and always keep it safe and when on me always check I have it several times a day. Bloody hassles these things, you would think in this day and age we just get a retina/fingerprint at the airport and that's it.

Despite what the more experienced post said think of it logically here are some of the quotes:
"first item it to provide a Thai partner"
Thais are mostly an incompetent bunch, who don't like foreigners which has been taught from birth and all of the systems are 100% corrupt.
"dummy partners"?
With your hard earned money do you want a business partner that will help and work with you or some mystery person doing god knows what in the background?
Unfortunately Thailand seems like a good place to do business with the hot weather, spicy food and lovely girls but when it comes to your cash you need to keep it in your home country. You have been warned.
PS: Older Chinese guy I know wants to come to Chiang Mai to live, I didn't even have to tell him but he just said "I will rent" - i.e. he will keep his house and investments in home country because he knows in Thailand you WILL lose.
One day I may come back, will rent, have no investments in the country ever and will take utmost pleasure of being able to "Flee the scene" and hop on an overnight flight before anyone knows anything back to my home if anything starts to get sticky.

She is right, people who want to stay in contact with their ex's are only trouble because they cant move on.

You can get yourself killed with Viagra remember its a drug that quickly forces the body to do something and if you are not a fit body it can be catastrophic. Instead try the many herbal equivalents available in Thailand, Akara is excellent it really works and no side effects except the good ones, it lasts longer and comes out better!!!
Good Lord!
A very benevolent crowd this Sunday morning.
Usually by post #5 there have been accusations of murder, robbery or some other misdeed requiring a full autopsy and the involvement of a foreign police force to follow up the evident plethora of clues which have been overseen or deliberately ignored by the Thai police in some cover up.
I guess that the normal bar stool hoppers are either recovering from Saturday or gone to church.
Nah, drunk 68 year old man loaded with viagra, is just looking to fall off the perch at any moment.l hope not!
l've got a few years left yet!
Anyway, Viagra gives me such a headache, so l don't use it.

68 is too young, I will keep exploding until at least 98

I just wish Noi and her family could get their finances in order, I have limited money and an infinite libido!

I am surprised they have not yet used it as a frying pan for Hoy Tort (Fried oyster)
-
Wonder if they are doing any recompilations between the 180+ baht rip off on ATM fees charged to only foreigners versus the stellar decline in takings LOL I spent all my holiday money locally this year and expect to do the same again.

ohhh boo hoo economy based on pussy. last time I was at the Tiger the girls wanted 2k just for a short time and they were bloody ugly what a joke. On a more serious note, when you hear of the deaths of foreigners coupled with an inept attitude of the police, and all of the other horrors we hear of on that island, what the hell do they expect? I only really loved Phuket around 20 years ago when I first started going there, gorgeous girls, no hassle, fewer crowds and great memories.

If they had proper OH&S this would not have happened because that bloody bus would have been parked in a parking lot and the driver would be in a hotel for the night.

There is only one agenda here. I don't know why these companies bother with Thailand market its relatively small and would be best served from either Singapore or AUS/NZ, then they can sack all the Thai staff and they can then give thanks to their country for that (i.e. unemployment and further poverty)
