I've no idea how they'll do it in practice, but there's not much point in opening for registration if nobody has the link to the form to be filled in is there?
Did you go to the web site? It clearly says "the link of Google Form will be published on 12th-16th July 2021."

I did check the intervac/expatriates site maybe 20 odd times and it was never open. The site has now changed to state the round of appointments is full etc. Was the site really open for a period??
Yes it was open, it was the only way I managed to get an appointment. Agree it had issues and not easy. I understand we now have to wait for it to open again once they get the vaccine stocks available. A message to this effect came from my embassy today. No other choice.
I did try the Mo Prom app (to register at a local gov hospital in Bangkok) using Thai ID but never got an answer ever. If I was to try again I'd wait for Intervac to open again.

Hope the above is helpful to folks with Phyathai II appointments.
Thanks. I was about to try this and then I got the email anyway.
My appointment was for 24-Jun, made two weeks ago by me, and the first and only email came the day before 23-Jun around mid day.

But this one still not working https://thailandintervac.com/expatriates
Yes, but it did work when people getting vaccines this week were able to register on it. Agree now its useless af. I cannot even log in to check my status is still OK for a jab this week.

Well, I got my confirmation email just now. 24th at Phyathai 2. No mention of which vaccine though. Fingers crossed for AZ, but I'll take what they have, anything is better than nothing.
Good news. Did you register via https://thailandintervac.com/
When doing so you choose the vaccine? Otherwise cannot make an appointment?
I have done so with a date same as you at same hospital but not got any email since.

I got my AZ jab at Phayathai 2 on Friday via the intervac website, it was a quick and painless process. No proof of illnesses requested, they just took passport and cross referenced the number with their appointment schedule, then onto the first desk where some questions were asked re address etc, you then add your height and weight to the form and tick some boxes re previous or current illnesses, the blood pressure test, and then the jab, all told 20 minutes from start to finish followed by half an hour in observation room before being sent away with my next jab appointment for September.
Thankfully no side effects.
Edited to add my confirmation email came late on the Thursday, 15.49.
Also one guy there was trying to change from AZ to Astra Zenica but was refused as the batch numbers were exact for the booking, you will get whatever you selected on the website.
Thanks. Are you younger than 60 hence your comment "No proof of illnesses requested"? For over 60 they should not need anyway?
With regards your confirmation email, is there any option to change appointment, change vaccine or cancel?
Thanks.

I am glad I am only 56, no urge and no intention to register for all these garbadge vaccines any time soon.
Wearing the avoidance of these vaccines and civic responsibility like a (gar)badge of honor.

Got to love the snide remarks to the perfectly acceptable question on English commentary, Thai Visa doing what it does best.

So yes, at 2 months should be fine.
Thanks Sheryl, that's reassuring.

I recently had a Zostavax jab in Bangkok about 2 months ago to reduce occurrences/severity of shingles events in future into my old age. I seem to get two or three events year.
I previously (pre-jab) used Acyclovir pills, but does anyone know if taking these antiviral pills now has any affect on the live vaccine jab doing its work going forward - supposedly good for up to 10 years?
Thanks

As it happens, yesterday I received an order that was supposed to be a Seiko watch. It wasn't even in a box, just rolled up in bubble wrap. I cut the end off the bag, slid the watch out and saw what they sell in the market for 100 baht.
So was this advertised at genuine Seiko watch prices or did you think you spotted a bargain? A 100THB fake watch is normally easy to avoid on Lazada.

They shouldn't worry about that really, most others would not be so daft in the first place.

My take on it was the importance of using correct punctuation in writing thread titles. Other than that nothing really.

Why should I inject a vaccine that could kill me when I have no risk to be sick with covid ? A Thai boy told me, what can I reply him to push for vaccination ?

Tell the minor to do what he's told and when he's an adult to make his own mind up. My kids never asked about their other vaccines during childhood. Mind you they were only 6 months old so couldn't speak at the time. They weren't too happy about the jabs, bawled their little eyes out but science makes sense.
