The latest announcement was posted on the Chiang Mai immigration website and comes into effect from 30 June 2020. 

So to be clear are you answering its a nationwide update but the information is only on the Chiang Mai immigration website ? Why would it not be on the national site https://immigration.go.th/announce ?

So each province applying its own TM30 immigration rules now? Only read about this for Phuket and Chiang Mai so far.

Have you ever done a 90 day report on a Non Imm O multi entry? Answer no, so why would you want to try and do one anyway? You are supposed to leave the country every 90 days. You will be joining the 1000's of people flooding immigration as you suggested when the amnesty period is concluded. Good luck.

Why not just buy a weeks 4G for your phone SIM and have your own internet - costs about 300THB for 10mbps unlimited no throttle?

Whats the point in having 5G speeds if all the 'unlimited' service plans are capped at 10mbps and the limited higher speed plans cut to 128kbps after the GB limit is reached, which presumably would be in a very short time indeed if 5G??

Not sure why you keep pointing out it takes less than 4 hours. Sometimes it does take 5 hours. It depends on traffic. Sometimes it takes 2 hours just to get across Bangkok during rush hour.
