How are you finding the prices? Comments I get are some places are charging a lot now.
Prices are pretty much the same as before c19 major price rises are in restaurants due to increased costs of ingredients not in bars/ladies

The moment you think they can't out dumb themselves, they surprise you. ???? You have to give credit for their never ending creativity. In the main article, it says "wearing a facial mask is highly mandatory in all public areas." I didn't realize there were different levels of mandatory. ????
Don’t forget it is Thai law to mandatory wear a face mask whilst riding a motorcycle at 50 miles an hour
you couldn’t make this sh it up

If some of the things I hear about the situation in Pattaya are true, the Hospitals are already bursting.
Yep bursting with folks with hardly any covid symptoms apart from a slight sniffle having to quarantine in a hospital

Really! Yet, so many bars, and social distancing are out the window in places like Pattaya, where the mongers rule, and those that can't eploit a lifestyle in their country come to taint the culture of a society that would be happy if their money were there, and the punters were ghost. Villages are starting to ballon with cases of the Vid, though you don't hear of this in the media. How can the CCSA not see the reality, or perhaps do they, and that they think it will only affect the Anglo people, and not their own? Or do they perhaps feel if the local nationals go where it's slippery they deserve to slip? One things for sure the cycle of how covid causes countries to stop flights, elongation of quarantine, and as western and Asian countries experience a rise in cases, so to will it come to pass here, but truth be told its about throwing safety to the wind at this point, or so it would seem. If not there would not be a topic written of its escalation or prediction there of.

It might be under control at the moment, but if it spreads so fast as it does here, it's just as matter of time before Thailand will face a new wave.
Here in Denmark we're seeing more and more cases of omicron each day that has not been related to traveling in Africa.
We went from 18 cases Friday to 183 Sunday and i think we passed 300 yesterday. (EDIT. We're at 398)
We do test a lot more than other countries (200,000 daily PCR test in a 5.8 million population plus 100,000+ quicktests) and we sequence a lot so of course we catch more cases, compared to some other countries.
We're also starting to find the omicron in our sewer samples as well, so i don't think we're able to control it any more.
We might be able to slow down the spread, but it looks like it's going to take over the delta within a short time if the pace continue.
I will suggest Thailand to massively ramp up their PCR testing, if they want to keep track of the omicron variant.
It's the only way to know how widespread it is.
I don't know if Thailand do sewer samples, but they could do that too if they don't use that method now.
So what numbers are not important folks getting seriously sick from Omicron are what matters and at the moment they are not

The lady, who talked to your daughter tried to help you but you ignore her. And you continue stayed there like a superman ! Why ??
If you live in Asian long time already and you dont know the basic rule "Never mix yourself into political matter" , than sorry to say that you are stupid and your fault.
Political is very sensitive matter and no farang has right to say anything !
Never challange anyone for political issue. Even local people won't dare to do so. Say sorry and GO from that place !.
Why did you stay there longer with your daughter ?? You have nothing lose there. Just GO out from the area, as people has shouted you to go already !!!
Could you please repost in English?

Does your pocket knife have a screwdriver attachment or a tin opener?
Dog bites you and you give it a treat? The best line of defence works most times for me is just to ignore them, don't stop walking, if they're directly in your path then walk slightly off your track, a pocket knife as earlier mentioned in my opinion is as good as a dog treat, firstly because it usually means you have to bend down to do anything with a pocket knife which is a big no no if dog is in attack mode,, in fact carrying a few dog treats in your pocket would be a much better form of defence against the stray dogs
I generally ignore them, but I have a pocket knife and when I see them I put my hand in my pocket and get ready. If they bite or try to bite me (or my family) I will kill them have the Dr. check them for rabies.
