There are many rich Thais that own a lot of land and they leave it untouched as they have no need to sell or cultivate.

About time they pay their taxes.

This is unheard in the western world.

We all pay taxes for houses or land owned.

What I don't like is that they shouldn't exempt Buddhist temples.

They make enough money to afford to contribute to the country and not only take.

Suggest you all try 'Sharm El Sheik" in Egypt next year...can't even get on the beach as the Hotels have them as private beaches.....Bali is much the same in places....

i got robbed january 12/13..all i remember is i went to katsiree bar soi bukhao...i was alone...2 ladies spoke to me and came and sat at my table...

i went for a piss..came back..thats all i remember....i got back to my room...above 7/11..opposite chaba hut...

the room had been turned over....i lost 3 gold wedding rings...2 seiko watch galaxy 5 phone...cash and bank cards..

done the police report...and thats it

i have no idea how i got from the bar where i went or how i got home....for sure i do not drink a lot as i am diabetic...so the most i would have had is 2 chang beers...

i am back in the uk now....if any one sees these girls photo on tv or any where can you pm ..me and get copies for me...

i have the poice email to contact them...if i find out any thing

Mate sitting back and waiting for the Thai police do actually do something is a waste of time. Go to the station and check these women out and see if it is them at least.

I would be annoying the stuffing out of them, even offer a reward if you want some action....

in london you will be fined £50 - £75 (depending on the borough) if you drop a cigarette end or litter on the ground. quite right too.

Thai Post Office used to be a bit iffy a few years ago....think that they where looking for money sent to the girls from overseas....now they seem to have put there house in order...never had a problem both sending and receiving.....my tip would be EMS Tracking and don't forget a customs sticker marking it NCV....

Should have informed the patrol officers it is illegal to ride their motorbikes on the footpaths and to refrain from doing it.

Also fine public/motorcy taxis who do it

I would forget about Pattaya, Bangkok etc and look to places like Udon Thani, Kanchanaburi etc, where there are a few expats, and a cheaper Thai like lifestyle with-out the temptations of the nightlife...
