This country is so predictable. Its the Cambodians fault!

Flying at 7:30am this week, guessing need to be there at 4:30. Plan never to go through there again

I always have a good laugh when watching him in True Lies.
Looking through his movie list is very high quality: Aliens, Simple plan, edge of tomorrow to name a few

Well you obviously do not get to BKK much. Siam Paragon, EmQuartier, Emporium, J Avenue packed every weekend, Mega Bangna are expanding they are doing so well. Which malls are you talking about?
Was going to say the same thing. Emquartier is always busy. Same with Mega. As far as them purchasing anything well thats a different story

Hi!
Do you know any exchange places (or specific superrich branches) that take and exchange small denomination of foreign currency (300hk, 500000viet dong, 50usd). Have a bundle and just want to get rid of it. Not too worried about bad currency rates, just want them out!

Had a similar exprience 1 month a go, pick up at airport asked to delivery me in Soi 52 and wanted to charge me 500thb strait, told him to go the Bang Na and he refused because to much taxi at the end he took the express way and meter running fast... total fee 490 thb, when i usually pay 400 max...
the driver seen in the movie shall be banned for life, and revoke the driving license, to teach a lesson to other drivers, one months they don't care and if they keep driving other taxis, who going to find it out ?
Had exact same problem. Was at airport and got a taxi, but they wanted 500baht and no meter. Got out while at airport and support staff took his license plate number and info.
Get a call 2 weeks later saying the driver got suspended for 6 months and cannot take rides from the airport. He was found to have done this before.
Well done Swampy taxi rank!

All around Thonglor as well. Getting more aggressive in their approach too.

Supposedly the biggest mall in Asia (bangna trad opposite BITEC). Was meant to start years ago, now just a vacant block.
Surprised as it was the plan from one of the largest mall developers/owners in Thailand. Anyone know whats going on? Will it happen or is it all over?

I love how impoliteness gets the same fine as ripping off someone

So if you are not in the happy zone, you will be in the unhappy zone? Which is the rest of the place?
What a great time to be in the LOS

Ive worked in schools and the over promising is outrageous. Their website is very vague and outdated with their curriculum.
Hope its sorted soon for the students sake.

wow maybe common sense prevailed. Or the Telcos told them to shove it. Me thinks the latter.

Scumbags, no remorse. Will never reform

meh, he said/ she said. Dont run a tab at a dodgy bar.
All over a supposed overcharge. This article reads like someone trying to squirm their way out of a problem.
600 baht for 4 drinks is high, but not 'this bar is absolutely scamming me' high.
Bad as each other

Both as guilty as each other.
And the crowd just stare like its a friday night theatre.

Nothing at all about Jamie Tobey online. Like a ghost.

And once again China waiting with the puppet strings when LOS collapses. They pretty much have Cambodia and Myanmar, Thailand would be a nice catch.

My last tenant had true, keep getting their invoices and receipts mailed. Asked for them to send to her new address, True had no idea what to do.
Love Asian business practices... When you struggle and customers are leaving, just raise prices and give less. Most bars operate that way here too

The Chinese must be loving this. Ready to support/take over/control Australia as America clearly has no interest

In fairness around Punnawithi area there has been a huge difference thats lasted about 3 months now. All for it, hope it stays.

Hmmmm... almost as creative and lucrative as the gravely-ill-buffalo/grandma con. Almost.
Ill buffalo pays a lot more than 20 baht a pot.

Meeting buyer tomorrow to sell my motorbike. All my paperwork is in order and will go with them to the motor office to finalise everything. Buyer will be under a Thai name.
Anyone recommend the wording for the sale contract? Is there a formal letter or a typed receipt/confirmation. Please show an example if possible.
With changing names in the book, can it all be done in a day?
Thanks TVers!

Will and inheritance of condo

Hi Thaivisa people!
I am Australian, and own a condo in Bangkok. No Thai wife or children and no longer live in Thailand.
Organising my will here and wondering how my brother would inherit my condo? I know the will needs to be translated in Australia at consulate, but what would the next steps be?
