  1. I guess one man's ugly is another man's cute. Tastes vary. Personally I prefer western women, who plenty here seem to regard as repulsive.

I have no problem with western women, as long as they fit my under 50Kg weight requirement.

Hey, hey, I am not fat at all. I wonder why TV male members think that western women are usually overweight?

Not all western women are British or American.

You have to visit my country and you will see, that on average women are slim and beautiful.

Unusual, but which country is this ? smile.png
slovakia especially but Czech too. but you will be amazed at how soon it becomes boring looking at barbie knock offs. slovaks dont particularly like english speaker either so you are outta luck.
  2. Thanks mate.

Now, what happen. I came back home, start my notebook while i pressed some buttons like F1 , F2 and so on during the booting process . Actually, F2 is the key to enter the bios. The notebook started again and it is still running. I was able to backup 133GB data's to a external drive. I only know F2 (for bios) and F8 (for windows startup menue). May be, F1 did something.....

So far, so good. I'm very happy i saved my data's finally. Now, everything is running fine. I just write this answer with it.

You say, i gave not enough details. Ok, this is what happens: My notebook was running. Everything fine. Suddenly a message box from my windows 7 comes up which says something like: Warning: Your hard disk have a problem. Then i restarted the notebook which was not possible. On the screen, only the Samsung logo appeared and on the bottom "Press F2 for Setup", which is the bios.

    Thats all.

Now, could it be possible, that the cmos battery is empty? Could this cause the problem? I will not shut down my device for tonight. Who knows if it ever will be able to start it again.

    ask the Buddha he knows

  3. I'm amazed anyone could find that much stuff they actually want in 7-11.

bottled water goes for the bulk of the first 1000, then snacks, plastic tray meals, milk, icecream, toasted stuff, assorted drinks, etc soon add up

buy water from a cheaper place? couldn't be bothered carrying it when 7-11 is 50 meters away. some people prefer to spend more on rent, booze, petrol, taxis, etc. i prefer to spend more on water

  4. i spend a few thousand baht on my 7-11 card a month and thus get accumulated points discounts etc. they add up over time.

if i had a family mart card i assume it would be similar story. but i dont shop there much and their not giving me a discount card wont increase that little at all. family mart stock similar stuff to 7-11.

  5. walked into a shop. saw overpriced sandwich in plastic box, was dubious so ask counter staff is it fresh. thai would of answered no it 3 days old. laos counter assistant/manager stated categorically yes it is fresh

so i bought it. yes it was at least 4 days old. handed it back and left without asking for a refund. left the country early next morning. sorry not my preferred culture.

just one example. could give more. been there quite a few times for visa issues. leave fast as possible most times. even before getting a visa on more than one occasion. only suitable for NGO and other druggies

  6. Do you run into dual pricing on a daily basis? I certainly don't.

Pretty common if you go shopping for food in the markets.

Most markets I go to have the prices clearly on display.

Every one of these delivery trucks selling fruit, vegs or whatever have the prices on display.

Dont think I have ever been dual priced at the gas station, when paying the phone bill, electric or water bill, the can insurance is the same price as Thais pay, same for car parts such as tyres and batteries.

7 doesnt appear to have a dual pricing policy, I dont see it on a daily basis where I live in Bkk.

the larger chains are more sly they have things called member cards. so tourist farang miss out on the cut price items. sure you too can get a card and get the discounts too, but then there are places like family mart where inquiring about the free card that was displayed prominently as available, i was told farang cannot

if at the markets and no price displayed i assume this means that those items are not for sale and go to the next vendor without stopping.
