If he is still a US citizen (neither renounced or revoked) and living in Thailand on some form of a long term visa , you may be able to at least get his attention in a serious way.
I think you are being a bit presumptuous. Nothing in the OP says that the father is American. Maybe he is Thai. OP does not state his/her or mother's nationality either.

I don't think so.

Are you describing a board game or the recent Thai election and post-election shenanigans? (sarcasm)

All good examples of their desperation. But I thought bluesofa had a pretty good example too ... "Perhaps next week we'll have a report of Thanathorn farting, and the government claiming he's contributing to global warming"

The very successful protest in Hong Kong will reverberate with the Thai masses. They've had enough! They got duped and they now know it. The time for action is coming.

Similar situation perhaps. I have been given incorrect paper change by cashiers. I pointed it out to them. They were elated. I felt good for the deed.
And I have seen people drop money, phones, cameras. It felt good to point it out to them.
Man in store that prompted this post was grossly wrong.

The one "business" he hasn't bankrupted, yet.
Even Biff Tannen would do a better job than this maroon.
He is unwittingly working hard to bankrupt this one. Easy for him.
If the party that he hijacked gives him enough rope .... game over.

Modified for road racing is rather ambiguous, if there is something illegal about their usage or (the example given) that the bike itself is breaking a specific law like exceeding noise restrictions then take them off the road until they comply - crushing a BT1m motorbike is hardly going to be correct or lawful, I ride a superbike and it fully complies with the law in every respect - you think the police should take my bike and crush it ? ????
Thank you !
I've never been able to appreciate this 'crush' thing.

The success of this protest in Hong Kong could very well be the impetus to similar efforts in "other" countries.
Digital media spreads ideas at lightening speed.

Look at me. I'm fine.
I had a radioactive glow too in the sixties, as a teenager, every time I was within 3 feet of a girl.
The glow was halfway between my head and my feet. I was mid teens then.
Ahh, those were the days.

And this thread will make all the people who like to say the stupid thing about Thai everyday on the thaivisa say more stupid thing. Strange life, have the brain problem.
King 5 was very clever and stopped the farang invade us. That is why he a “great king” for the Thai people. King 4 also help a lot.
If he not do it I think we would be the third world and poor country same like Laos, Cambodia, and Burma.
Look at them now, the country that the farang invade and stolen. Have the bad economy, the people must come to Thailand for money and job.
If anyone interested, should look at this one https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ram_Khamhaeng_Inscription
Maybe real, maybe the fake. But it one of the reason farang not invade. Farang believe it then. King is very clever with the farang invade situation.
Clarity: When I said "There's lots of "stupid" where I come from !", that was not referring to Thailand. Surprise, surprise, that was referring to Canada.
I am appalled on a daily basis at some of the born and raised Canadian people that I meet (and same for USA).
From an earlier posted comment (?), I must agree, Thais are very resourceful. And from another poster (?), there are "stupid" people in every country, probably in an equal percentage to each other.
I have respect for Thais, particularly for the hard work of many. And having done business with many dozen, their level of service was above that of my home country. No complaints !

Resourceful.
Working with Thai family members, friends and workers at the farm or around the house I am often amazed how much they do with so litle, and with creative solutions to problem requiring few resources.
I believe it is that resourcefulness that enabled them to escape colonization.
I get annoyed at posters who say Thais are stupid., it could not be further from the truth.
Thais are very proud people, and will not admite they don't know how to do something , this attitude often get them in trouble and make them look stupid.
Relationships between Expats and Thais often suffer because of the "we pretend to pay them and they pretend to work" syndrom.
And finally some are stupid, just as many in the west are stupid. Stupidity is a human trait. You should see the idiots I work with in the west, and none of them are Thai.
There's lots of "stupid" where I come from !

They tried regular size bus service a few years back, but were harassed out of existence by baht bus drivers. Bring those back, with armed escorts for however long it takes. No tracks, no tear up of streets... oh, yeah, sorry I forgot... how is that nephew who got diploma ever going to get on gravy train? Would love to see family trees of politicians and "advisors" etc. Would rival Game of Thrones or Plantagenet England back when
"with armed escorts for however long it takes"
Now wherever would Thailand get "armed escorts" from? Unheard of.

Video you say.
Is this a video of an attack on an American ship? Is it even a video of an attack?
Why is this a matter for the US to get militarily involved in?
And if the US wishes to get involved, why should other nations forget the lessons of Iraq?
I'm glad you stated "video" Chomper and not "video tape". Times (and technology ) have changed.

Best observation so far in this young thread.
By now, except for those wearing seriously Trump-tinted glasses, most of us know how to predict Trump.
I just hope for once that he exercises some restraint.

I read ThaiVisa for both knowledge and entertainment. I'm not sure which way to classify
this "first known trip abroad".
Previously, I wasn't aware that crossing a river is referred to as "abroad".
