hi guys on some small appliances like radios /tv,s its possible to run them on 24 volts,by removing the internal transformer and re-feeding the 2 output wires with your 24 v supply.the transformer simply converts 240volts a/c into 24volts dc anyway!i saw this done in the dom,republic this year to a radio

make sure you use a 30ma (milli-amp) rated rcd,(residual current device),this should trip the electricity before it does you any harm
.it should be tested each week also by pressing the test button on it .although thai plugs have 2 pins-i thought they also hade a strip inbetween the 2 prongs that is the earth? -

hi all, newbie here-a few years ago i hung out at a bar in s/pattaya -a transexual used to sit at a concrete table on his/her own,i asked yin (my lady friend )"why does he look sad "?she(yin)said-only him left now-all his friends they die "-(5)christ i said- did someone kill them?"no no !yin says -"down here(pointing between her legs )"smell bad!"then they die! it seems they had operations to give them a fanny but all had become infected and led to premature death --could only happen in los!!

hey bud!when ever i meet a thai ladys now -i check out whether they are computer literate --i go into a n ,internet, cafe with ,my lady/s- and log on --if she shows no interest atall she is the one for me !

i flew garuda in 2002--24 hr delay ,then the replacment aircraft was a different type so had to land to refuel in saudi instead of it being a direct flight also the arm fell of me seat

me again!--one thing to consider when buying a property in los is the build quality- (or the lack of it!),i always take time out during my visits to los to check out newly built houses (im an electrician )some are very well built ,but others are absolute rubbish!.i saw a development on phuket last year ,the houses were built into the side of a hill just outside patong going towards karon ,i would be suprised if they are still standing !. i cant see the builder giving back any money in the event of structural problems

hi cathyy foreighners generally speaking cant own land in thailand -only lease it for a ceartain time 30 yrs i think ,why not rent one for a year or so ?that way youve lost nothing

when i was in phuket last year, i was talking with 3 english guys (expats running a bar)they reccomended swallowing a small amount of lime cordial ,(neat )after eating ,to kill off any bacteria in the stomach.sounds like it might work
