  1. Dark skin is ugly to many pooyings.

    Whiteners are fu__king with nature.

    Whitening is basically skin bleaching.

Same as white sugar. Sugar is brown. It is made white by bleaching.

About 15 years ago in Georgia, USA there was a bleach fire and explosion at a sugar factory.

The skin and sugar companies know the problems they are causing but profits are more important.

They don't understand their skin is dark for sun protection. I am a very very blinding white northern European. I  have skin cancer, is benign, not deadly. My arms are ugly, after dermatologists FREEZE, SCRAPE, send samples to the lab, and CORTORIZE to tell me my cancer is not deadly.

    Skin whiteners are long-term DEADLY.

I guess looks are more important than DEATH.

  2. Mountains, lakes, waterfalls, good food, excellent prices, different culture than BKK and south. Beautiful scenery. Housing is 40-80% cheaper than The Big Mango, BKK.

Places so far away from anything and anyone that the noise you hear is the noise you make and the sounds of nature. Don Muang Airport (DMK), and Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) are a 45-minute plane ride,10-hour bus ride. No rat race. Life is slow.

  3. I don't think Thailand's climate can get any hotter.

Bangkok is the hottest city in the world with an average daily temperature of 84 F or 28.8889 C.

In Chiang Mai, where I live there are 340 days of 90 and 90+ F  per year, 32.222 and + C.

In summer, mid-February until rainy season which is usually late May, you will see up to 105 F, 40.5556 C.

When it's very hot find a pool, some shade, or an air conditioned mall. Enjoy someone else paying for the AC and come home after 6:00 PM.

Thai people like to walk into a 7-11, hang out for 2-3 minutes, buy nothing and leave.

I have lived in Chiang Mai for 4 years. The lowest I have seen is 59 F, 15 C.

There is no very dangerous snow, ice, freezing cold, and wind chills.

  4. Is your bathroom near trees or on the edge of the jungle ?

When I see dirt or something that should not be there, it goes down the toilet or the drains.

I spray my bathroom during my shower and also with toilet sprayer.

I use 1-3% bleach and 97-99% water in a bucket on all my floors before I go out, it dries is 20 minutes. I come home and bathroom is clean, sanitary, and dry.

Very little work (10 minutes for 70 square meters), great results and no critters like your friend in your photo and videos.

The bleach and water cleans the floor and the drains.

Also clean your bathroom, it looks like it's outside.

If you create a habitat, the critters will come.

Countries with most species-- #1-Australia, #2--Indonesia, and #3--Thailand.

This is the tropics, critters multiply faster here than in the USA.

    I don't have that problem.

  5. Why do you want to insulate in a climate that never requires insulation ?

Teak houses were made for their beauty and durability in this wet, hot and, humid climate.

Do not spoil the beauty of the wood with insulation.

What you want to do is fill in the spaces.

Talk to a housing contractor. Your house is not the only house in Thailand with this problem.

    The problem is climate related.

The richer people in teak houses use the remedy you are looking for.

Bring your phone with a translating app.
