AN is not allowed to change anything from a news source so we have to accept the garbage that Thaiger tosses at us on a daily basis. Some of their writers try to demonstrate they are skilled journalists by indulging in flamboyant language. but it just makes them look like kids playing a game.
Exactly like the senile script from GG.!!.

Never going to happen, the military, Thaksin, and he who cannot be named have made it impossible.

I'm convinced nobody should addressed with any of those gutter language words. Maybe Thaksin is not your favourite politician, but he is part of society, beloved by millions of Thai people still. You can criticise him, but please articulate yourself in a proper human being language. Thank you.🙏
But he's only being offensive to pigs !!.

Hi all,
I arrive in January. I have a Tourist Visa from online application for a 60 days stay. What I am wondering is if there is a way to avoid the lines at immigration (if there are any) and sail thru. I am flying business class with Cathay Pacific. In the old pre-Covid days one would get a card that allowed business class passengers the luxury of shorter immigration lines. Last few years I have not seen this happen.
To be honest I have not had issues with long lines but this trip I arrive late morning and it could be busy. I am also getting older and standing in line hurts a bit on my man made knees and hip. I'm willing to pay a little bit to avoid rubbing elbows with the smelly public.
Info greatly appreciated.
If you really have medical issues about standing, speak to one of the staff who will direct you a single booth for aged and infirm.

Is there a reason why you always refer to Taksin as “de facto boss cum convict etc. Etc”. Why not just “Former Prime Minister”?
Or professional piss taker !!

Nothing will come of any petition or even an investigation, Thaksin is far too rich and far too well connected!
And after all he is THE prime minister!!!.

It is all clear to see that the wool, big and thick wool, is being pulled over everyone's eyes, Thaksin is well privileged and protected by all concerns, all the way from the highest office in the land to his jail/hospital servants, simply because it has all been agreed on well before he came back and we're all going to hear the name Thaksin for years to come...
High Office, Pardon ?.

That's a bit harsh, spending time with Gamma, would make him more of a Lunatic !!.

They dynamics are well known, and expected.
What is out of the ordinary is how long the support phase lasted, and how muted the lack of support was/is (I'll get to Biden's words, don't worry).
To put things in perspective, this is a non-binding resolution, meaning it is of declarative value. As such countries are way more likely to vote for, because it doesn't mean a whole lot. Not the first or the last of these. Also, note that 23 other counties abstained or did not vote (among them such lightweights such as the UK, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands).
Just another day on the UN.
As for Biden words - one got to appreciate the dilemma you're faced with. On the one hand, topic after topic, you denigrate and ridicule the man as having no clue what he's talking about. Now he comes out and say something you like, can't really have a decent go at him. I do remember, however, that near the start of this war you were all over the place about Biden's comments regarding the atrocities (that thing with the pictures he claimed to have been shown and than retracted). Somehow, now - Biden is a perfectly credible source. Amusing, to say the least.
I think Biden's main thrust is less about global support, and more about 'the day after' issue. The White House would like to see some progress on that front post-war, while Netanyahu and his right-wing allies broadcast a different tune. On this issue, what Biden said is diplomatically off the charts as far as relations between the countries go. But this is not so much against Israel, rather directed specifically at Netanyahu's coalition partners.
No matter how much you ramble on you still support Netanyahus campaign of genocide, yes ?.

PERFECT? lol dont you mean perfectly? adverb with verbs... not adjectives.
except for received pronunciation which was created out of a need for brits to understand each other... i can say after having travelled england that most dialects arent that easy to understand and most of england speaks in dialects except for those who have learned received pronunciation.
goat... i kinda have to agree with you on this one. but... there are some cool brits (many) and i think of britmantoo as an example. but i do have to say that in the staff rooms i have worked with many english nationalities that the brits did seem to have something to iron out the most...
One saving grace for the Brits though, they're not so pedantic!.

Surely, the women in Scotland are better.
Therefore, why do some men come all the way to Thailand just to find love?
There must be a logical reason.
Or, are their reasons illogical?
And, does their impetuous impulsiveness lead to a downfall that could have been easily avoided if they had only listened to reason?
Hindsight is never very helpful in most cases.
One wonders what leads these men from Scotland to their far-flung Thai girls?
Like lemmings to the sea...so to speak...

Been going on for months and the doctors remedy doesnt work much.
I wonder if there is any of you going to pharmacy once in a while that have seen a N-acetylcysteine (NAC) inhalation spray there and what its name is?

Hard decision to make but you have to weigh all the factors pro and con and make the choice thats best. You don't mention how long your together with the lady or the deciding factors of why your not going back. If its due to advanced age, have you thought of bringing her with you? Plus for her going as she knows you and could (I hope) help take care of you.
Good comments, 6 years together, she will not leave Thailand, home and family is Sattahip, I know I'm going to need good health care as I get older ,don't want to die in Thailand even though I've had nearly 20 happy years there, I'm being selfish and SAD !. !.

returned to UK in March this year, glad to escape the heat, hate the long flights and airport hassle plus the regular fiasco at Jomtien immigration.
But miss my wonderful Thai lady and feel I'm letting her down because I've decided not to go back, she lives and works in Sattahip, not many farangs there so doubt she'll find a replacement!.
I'm 88 years old in 2 weeks so sadly it's head over heart !!.
would like to hear comments.
