I carry a laminated copy as my Thai drivers license along with photographs of my passport and relevant pages on my smart phone. The drivers license also carries your passport number as many are aware????????????

My wife is Korean. Therefore I believe that the local Thais are very educated in terms of staying away from Koreans.

I suggest you read the post carefully in relation to trying to purchase even with cash – it is quite clear that they still required the passport in his case even though he was paying cash. That is why he got his non-Thai girlfriend to pay for the goods without problems????????‍♂️????????????
