Thanks for the replies. Actually, I booked an appointment weeks ago. So if the passbook needs to be the same day... I'll visit the bank in the morning as usual. (Though I also tend to go to the bank the day before too.. To request the letter, and ensure they'll be no problems) Perhaps one day they'll be a way to technologically streamline this process.

Next week is my annual extension of stay for my retirement based on funds. (Ratthaprasasana Phakdi Building... For Bangkok). Up to now, I've always had to travel to my bank in the morning and collect a letter, and update my bank passbook. So both are dated with the day of the extension application. Is there any leniency on this date? It's not possible to collect them the day before? Is it? (Thus save time and get to the visa office faster). Or in these modern times when I do most banking on my phone... Is there a more up to date, electronic way I can prove my finances? (Note my bank does not have a Ratthaprasasana Phakdi branch)

For Bangkok) (I tried to book an appointment, but already fully booked for the next two months). What's the status of online form submission, or queueing online,or any other online services that reduce waiting around all day for my number to be called? The e-extension system seems really useful... But as far as I know it covers 12 categories of extension that DO NOT include retirement visas. Or has there been an update on this?
