  1. If everybody played exactly by the rules, the immigration department would lose a lot of revenue and therefore they would put in some more ridiculous rules with associated fines to make up for the loss.

    My Thai wife got a permanent resident card for Canada and has no need for a visa and no ridiculous check in requirements. Why can't this country just reciprocate? We live half a year here in Thailand and the other half in Canada.

    My visa for Thailand is a one year OA and I still have to check in every 90 days to confirm I am still at the same address. Would it not be prudent for them to say " if you move or change address, please call us" and don't waste half a day going through the hoops. The more I"m here, the better it looks across the ocean.

  2. We had the same thing here in Nong Ruea. Thought we were going to have a real problem as the size of the blob(about 30 ft. up in tree )and for about 2 days it kept getting bigger and bigger. Then a couple of days later we got up and looked out and the whole thing was gone. Sort of seems like a migratory rest break for thousands. The blob at it's biggest was about 2 ft by 1 ft and looked menacing as all get out.
