A drunk can drive a car if they don't take it away from. Take his licence away and he can still drive his car. Sometimes I have to wonder about the logic in people's thoughts when they make the rules. Take the car and impose a fine of about 10,ooo bhat to get it back. Same with motorbikes.

Maybe some rubbish bins strategically placed around the beach would simplify and aid in the clean-up. A little forethought goes a long way, sometimes. But then, someone would probably steal the bins. Ho hum.

Asking authorities to actually do their job for one week of the year is a gift to the public now is it?
Do they not realise how ridiculous and rather pathetic that sounds?
I agree with you 100 per cent. I thought I had heard it all. Maybe they should just give them bigger rewards when they catch a criminal or solve a crime
-
What, no pointing. How do we know which are the criminals?
-
The level of safety standards here in the land of smiles is utterly appauling!!!!!!!!!
-
Why isn't anyone pointing? Come on guys get with the program,
-
Where are the cops for this photo-op? Must be out spending their reward money!!!!

The only way to cut down on road accidents in Thailand is to take all the vehicles and motorbikes off the road, not mention the buses and vans.
-
Only if they give back their regular salary when they aren't catching bad guys and making arrests. No wonder a traffic cop, for a couple hundred bhat will let you go on your way without issuing a ticket. This country is, and always will be, living in the dark ages.

Another fuddle duddle and I suppose an all muslim cabinet. Adiew Canada.
-
Sure. With an all muslim cabinet

I wonder how much reward money they will get for thisarrest.
-
Absolutely not. They'll end up only doing their job if they get rewards for it other than regular pay. The rewards should go to the public who assist in the capture or solving a mystery. What a stupid thing to do!!!!!!!!

I pay $25.00 CDN every year for my criminal check by the Provincial Police, in order to satisfy the requirements for my OE, non resident, 1 year visa for Thailand. This is done in my home province of Ontario in Canada. Does this 35 bhat check by the Thai "authorities" mean that I can save about $24.00 CDN every time I apply? Also, this check in Canada takes about 3 to 4 weeks. Either the Canadians are very slow or this 35 bhat charge is just a smoke screen and money grab.

Thai laws will never change unless someone greases their palms"

Lets give it a rest!!!!!! Enough said on that topic. Let's move on to something else.

I think we have beaten a dead horse long enough now. Lets get on to a different topic.

I think that a masters in business admin teaches them that all Farangs must be millionaires in real dollars. (Lol)

I thought she was going to visit him and share his birthday with him in person. Did I miss something?

They can't drive cars so what makes them think they can fly and manage airplanes and airlines?
-
I think it's time to bring in some experienced westerners to get things on the right track. The way things are going presently the Thai airlines are going to be banned everywhere. It's a bloody shame. Wake up and smell the roses Thailand aviation.

Why is it that at one airport in Thailand they make you remove your belt and not at another? At one airport you have to remove your shoes but not at another. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to their modus operandi. They tell me to put my cellphone in the basket as well as laptop. I carry 3 cellphones (2 are out of country phones) and have no laptop but rather an I-pad. I put 1 cellphone in the baskets and say no the question of laptop, do not mention I-pad and proceed on through the check point unchallenged. Do they really know what they are looking for? Do they need a sign saying "gun" or "bomb" here?, and then pursue the matter further. I guess if you pay minimum wage you get minimum for it. Oh well.

Like the guy with 40 bullet holes in him. According to police "worst case of suicide they had ever seen".

Just the token Farang. Nam-jai only applies to Farangs.
