the EU have tried every underhand means to keep us in, this dictatorship, these clowns in charge are not ven heads of countries. there are many countries who share a border with a EU country with no problems at all, they are just making all this <deleted> up. but they answer to no one even to explain why this now seems to be a big issue, check out google and see. the border countries, you will be surprised.

No, they haven't. They sat with the then PM and her negotiating team and agreed an exit deal. You may (no pun intended) be deluding yourself to the contrary but don't expect us to all fall in line behind you.

There is no dictatorship, just an elected parliament, you seem to be unable or most likely unwilling to distinguish between the two. Stop it with your project fear language, it just shows that your argument has no substance.

Which of the bordering countries have a fairly recent history of decades of near civil war along the lines of Northern Ireland? If there are none then your point is moot as they could hardly be considered sensible or relevant comparisons.

Wow, somebody else has seen through the EU too.
Do you have to find a link or source for everything you are told? Are you incapable of making your own analysis of any given situation? It appears most Remainers are, which is probably why they believe Leavers were advised or instructed by the preferred bogieman of the day. Whereas Leavers needed no coaching on the ills of the EU, because we’ve known it for years.

So, as you've known these ills for years, please share with us, which EU laws have caused you, personally any pain? After all these years I'm sure there must be dozens, scores or maybe even hundreds or thousands so rather than list them all perhaps you could share the top ten that have injured you so.

That’s what it’s all about for the EU. If they cannot force us into Remaining to protect their bloc, they want to close the border. Just think of all that free trade produce flowing freely into to EU bloc.

Their protectionist racket would have failed and the people of Ireland (plus further afield) would be able to enjoy some cheaper products without EU tariff. They could even be able to buy some of that chlorinated chicken that everybody talks about. If the EU banned it then it must be good, and why shouldn’t we and they be able to buy it if the price is right?

That nounou state gets into everything. Let’s Leave.

It is staggering almost beyond belief that Leavers use the term "project fear" when discussing the EU, when those same leavers continually use wholly inapropriate and unjust language in discussions around the EU and its relationship with the UK.

There is no "forcing" by the EU for the UK to either leave or remain, to suggest otherwise is nonsense.

    "protectionist racket"? Nonsense, groundless, childish.

"nounou state"? There is no EU State, rather a collection of individual member States, as for the "nounou" or "nanny" nonsense I guess this is some absurd, twisted reference to the many positive contributions made by the EU to protect human rights, consumer rights and employment rights, which have benefited many millions of its citizens.

I haven,t got the arrsse for sitting on a fence......no place for Barkley or Pedro...either in the starting line up or on the bench. imho

That still leaves Kante, Jorginho, Mount, RLC, Kovacic, Pulisisc and Gilmour fighting for three or four positions, depending on the formation. You're still at risk of picking up a splinter or two, Keith.

I thought about giving this one a crack.

Then I saw the IMDB rating of 2.8

I normally don't go just on ratings, but I've never seen many that low before,

so decided to give it a miss.

There was some innane controversy over the casting, the leading "role" is gay but the actress is not, so there is a campaign to score it low. 250+ reviews in a couple of days shows that something is amiss.

  6. While last night's game didn't start with the same tempo and intent as the Brighton game it was another decent performance and result, with a couple of cracking goals. Great passing and movement for the last goal and nice to see Jorginho contribute with an eye for a key pass and quick movement of the ball that was so lacking last season. When two players come off the bench and create a goal of the quality of our fourth we know things are looking up.

One thought that crossed my mind was where will RLC fit in once fit, there certainly will be genuine competition for places in midfield. If we keep in the cups for a while there will be plenty of matches to rest and rotate but they'll all be wanting to start in the big games so who would make up your prefered midfield assuming they're all fit and on form?

Me? I'll just sit on the fence and just go with whoever SFL selects.

Shame on you BM, I thought I was the only lazy <deleted> on this thread.

The thing that struck me about the lads coming through from our Academy is, they can all play football and have pace and acceleration. The exception pace wise is Billy Gilmour, from what little I've seen of him though, but he's still very young and will get stronger. It was nice to see Reece James putting in an old fashioned slide tackle or two though. For this eventuality, we have Jody and the succession of Academy coaches to thank.

The game itself was a very good win, in a cauldron of a stadium against a quick and skillful outfit. The youngsters would have grown up and learnt a lot from this experience.

And to think we used to have to queue up all night for tickets back in the day - and had fun doing it. I guess we might have been a bit younger then!

Lampard is doing an Ajax at the moment with the Youngsters.

Very impressive win in a tricky game. Future looks bright.

Fans must be loving it at the mo.

Well this one is. Still couldn't kick myself out of bed at 2 a.m. to watch it though, but I would have been tempted to if it had been on TV rather than chancing some dodgy stream.

I've said before and I still say that I don't want the transfer ban lifting in January.

    Pretty close to my preferences.

    Mine would be:

    The Sopranos

    Breaking bad

    The Wire

    The shield &

    Justified

SOA and Gomorrah would be in the top 10 also.

I love Gomorrah. The Wire got great reviews and is in lots of people's top ten but I just couldn't get into it, I'll have to give it another go sometime soon.
