PM Srettha Thavisin spent the morning of the final day of official Songkran public holidays visiting Thaksin Shinawatra at Chan Song La mansion.

He offered parolee and former prime minister Thaksin a traditional Songkran water blessing, a deed associated with the Thai New Year in which people pour scented water on the hands of their elders’ and exchange good wishes.

The caption on PM Srettha’s X post reads, “I am here to wish PM Thaksin a Happy New Year’.

A decade and a half ago Jimmy Carter said Israel had about 123 nuclear warheads in its arsenal. Best thing for Israel could be to nuke Iran before it's too late. A small country like Israel can only have a first-strike nuclear doctrine unless it equips itself with a submarine deterrent.

I wouldn't go that far. If it's raining a lot you know there's a good chance there is an issue. I've also noticed (in Pattaya) some general areas are more likely to not be accepted to my location than others so if I really want some food quickly, I won't take a chance on those. There are also somewhat predictable patterns of busy days of the week, rush hours, which you can choose to avoid. The taking a lot of time to cancel is really bad because you need to wait until they do until you start to arrange an alternative.

Deliverytime over 2 Hours by Grab l dont accept. Then I dont open the door and shut my handy! Grab pushes everything off to the customer in a very one-sided way.  That is my answer to this business policy!

So not picked up on the computer system .

I just received my 90 day reminder , obviously an automated diue to the holidays etc.

Surely they can put software in their system that pings when somebody has not done their 90 day report or years extension ?

Its your job to do the 90 Days Report! Why should make the Immigration Office a Reminder:post-4641-1156694572:

    HOT! 🔥

I'm drinking Sponsor (sugar free electrolyte) and lots of water everyday to keep the hydration.

Someone told me that Protein Milk is also good.

What are you drinking to keep up with the heat?
(I'm not talking about beer and booze...)

With a good, normal diet and 2-3 liters of water a day you can save yourself electrolytic drinks!

Because the fine will just end up in their pockets and they fix it up in the computer. In the south many things are still easier like it used to be anywhere, if you know the right person and time. But 20K actually sounds too cheap, should be more in the direction of like 40-70K if combining it with changing it to a yearly extension.

I remember a similar thread a while ago.

Our truck is two days over 3 years, insurance (Navakit) through what used to be Mister Prakhan. I was really happy with mister P and when I scraped the front wing down a concrete post, Navakit and Toyota did a good job.

Due to this, and the lowest quote - I repeated the purchase. Yet, again Navakit want to to come and see the truck. As they did last year.

Last year, her comment was “the same as the day you bought it” and this year nothing has changed.

Now my wife tells me, the girl just takes photos - just a girl with a cellphone, not an agent or connected to the company at all.

Is this normal for every company? Even if repeat business? Every year?

    Change the Insurance Company!

A British man faces a fine of 5,000 baht after a viral video, filmed by a Thai local, showed him walking naked with his friends along Ao Nang Beach in the southern province of Krabi.

A resident of Krabi province witnessed the naked British man, later identified as 23 year old Joseph William Kershaw, and filmed him. The video was later shared on several social media platforms sparking complaints against the foreign man’s behaviour.

In the video, a gathering of 20 to 30 foreigners can be seen posing for a group photograph in front of the Sailfish Sculpture on Ao Nang Beach. Kershaw was seen strolling naked in the presence of his companions, swinging his clothes in hand.

The individual who filmed the incident informed Channel 3 that it occurred on April 8. The group of foreign tourists arrived at the location accompanied by a Thai tour guide. Kershaw’s companions appeared to applaud his behaviour and encourage him. Neither his companions nor the Thai guide intervened.

While the foreign group may have found Kershaw’s actions amusing, locals did not share the sentiment, asserting that his behaviour disrespected both the landmark sculpture and the community.

The person filming noted that both Thais and foreigners were present at the scene when the incident occurred, yet Kershaw proceeded with his actions, apparently under the impression that he could behave as he pleased in Thailand as a foreign tourist.

Krabi Immigration Police and Ao Nang Police Station managed to identify Kershaw and found that he was in Thailand on a tourist visa. The British man was summoned to the Ao Nang Police Station yesterday, April 9.

Kershaw issued an apology for his inappropriate action in the public place and claimed that he acted under the influence of alcohol.

As a result of his actions, Kershaw was fined 5,000 baht under Section 388 of the Criminal Law: performing a disgraceful act in public by undressing himself, exhibiting his undressed person, or committing any other act of obscenity.
