Are you sure that is required?  Bangkok Bank has allowed any branch to issue cards for several years now and believed it was normal at all banks.

100% sure. Yesterday I was in the Bangkok Bank branch in Hua Hin because my ATM card expired in April. I was told that I can only get these in Bangkok because I opened the account there. In Hua Hin, I only get a card when I open a new account there, but none for my account in Bangkok ......

  2. Hi, is it possible to change the bank account where the 800k baht is deposited, or will the immigration hassle with the next application in december 2020. Its the same bank but different province. The amount will be transferred directly and there will be no interruption, only the bank account number changes and I will get a new Bankbook. I live in Hua Hin and I ask this question because I opened an account in bangkok a few years ago. now the ATM card has expired and I should now go to bangkok especially for a new One. I can only get a new card if I personally go to the bank branch..... insane!

    Thanks for Inspiration......

The people of Thailand have to be able to make a living, and feed their families. It is easy for these typically wealthy ministers and advisors to recommend very long economic shutdowns, but the pain it is causing the masses is untold. And the subsidy program is not working, with about 80% of the people who apply being rejected. It demonstrates the lack of concern and lack of sincerity of the leadership here.

Yes, ignore the Pandemic Experts, and lets go into a desaster, welcome a second Covid high peak. Dream on!

  4. Nobody cares red Number Plates. I waitet more than 18 Months/25k km for the white. In this time I passed many Checkpoints in different Provinces, day and night. Was never was asked for the book, insurance, DL etc. For change to the white Plates, your Dealership is responsible. So if you are insured and have the Traffic Tax Sticker on the Front window, youre on the safe side.

Do you believe what you posted:

"if you get sick with the virus you cannot hide it from the authorities (unless you curl up & die)

    & would need medical attention"

Have you ever lived in a province away from the city and been part of a Thai family and observed the culture when someone gets ill.  If you had you would understand that people die at home all the time surrounded by family and the government never knows until the police report is filed and the certificate of death is presented to start the other processes the family needs to do, property, etc...

If you have then you would not have made such a silly comment as this is and always will be a third world country, even with some of the top facilities they have here.  Very few go to the hospital except to get some meds, least of all being removed from family and when dying to not have them near......

Incompetent comment......I stay since 14 Years in Thailand, in my experience here, you tell nonsense!
