  1. Province:   Bangkok

    Date:   2nd July

    Location Phyathai 2

Are you over 60/chronically ill? No

    How did you register?  Thailandintervac.com/expatriate

    Vaccination received  Yes

If yes,  Type of vaccine :  AZ

    If no, Reason not vaccinated:

Print out all documents from thailandintervac but not a single piece is required. Just bring your passport will do. After registration will be given a form to fill up. After filling have to give it to the nurse/staff so they can call you for blood pressure test. Quite a few people sitting there without submitting the form waiting for their queue to be called. Lastly, Phayathai 2 has 2 buildings. Please note where you parked. I parked at building B because it's the first building upon entering the premise, but took vaccine at building A. Both building carpark looks identical and I have been searching for my car at the wrong building.

Sinovac 2nd dose is around 4 weeks but AZ is 12 weeks. My 2nd appointment is end of Sept and I'm keeping my finger crossed that vaccine shortage will not happen at that date.

You have the choice to pay or not so how is it a scam ?

Of course, leave the country and pay huge amount of money for ASQ and return pay another sum for ASQ so I can apply for a elite visa that I already paid. Of course I can just leave and not return if I don't feel that it's fair... oh wait a minute, I can't! I have a family and business here... Don't worry, just pay 30k and we can help you. You are absolutely right! It's not a scam... I have choices which I chose to pay willingly.

I finished one job and still had almost a year on my visa. Everyone told me I had to go to immigration and cancel the visa(to get 7 days to leave the country) but I didn't, nor did I return my WP. When I got a new job(1 year later), they sent me to the nearby Din Daeng police station to pay 1500 baht and then I got a new WP. There was no problem when getting a new visa.

You are lucky and most probably pre-covid era. I found myself in this situation Feb this year. I terminate my work permit on near end Dec and 2 days later went to immigration to get a stamp of covid "visa/extension stay" for 60 days. No questions asked. Few weeks later I applied for the next Visa and was told that I overstayed for 2 days. I think ok no big deal I will just pay the fine of 1,000 baht but I was insisted to leave the country before processing my Visa application.

When my 60 days stay was down to only 6 days left, I asked for help and they offered to clear the overstay record for a 30k baht "fee". I fully know that I was being held hostage. Just another scam in Thailand by the Gov official.

Am I sick of this place? After the countless similar incident and the current covid issue manage by them, I'm making plans to leave for good. Need another year to fully liquidate the asset and business. Already started conversations with neighboring countries to setup business. If all good, I'm happy to leave asap.

Side note: I already sold 5 pickup trucks and still have 2 commuter vans to sell. 2018 blue plate can be privately own. If anyone interested shoot me a PM. (If moderator find it inappropriate, feel free to remove this section but please keep the above post.)

  4. I don't know the difference between visa and extension of stay but I do know is that the day they terminate your work permit is also the day you have to go to immigration to get a stamp. Failed to do so might end up being considered as overstay when you apply for your next whatever visas or permit.

I cancelled my work permit 2 days before I applied for a covid visa which I got. Within 60 days I started process of applying another visa and was told that I had a 2 days overstay and 1,000 baht fine. Due to the overstayed (even fine was paid) I was told that I must leave the country and return to clear the record. Of course covid and travelling is not possible and at the boiling point of near end 60 days, I was offered to pay a fee to clear the overstay as they understand that travelling is not possible. Of course the fee has not receipt.

  5. Twenty over years ago while I was a young teen. I got so wrong with the law but was too young to be place in prison. I was sentenced to 2 years probation with curfew hours and community work. They put a device on my ankle to track whether I was home on time. I hated that thing every minute for that 2 years duration.

Anyone coming must be really extremely desperate or simply don't have a choice. Tourist? I don't see the value for money.

Both sites have now been taken down.

Since I tweeted about the data breach problem at http://thailandintervac.com, authorities have now taken down the website. My apologies to anyone who was using it to book a vaccination appointment. Hopefully they will get this sorted soon #Thailand

As usual site is up like nothing had happened without apologies. Data breach? What data breach? We had a link below(just added) for bug reporting.

When was the first available appointment that able to be booked on Thailandintervac?  When I registered last Monday the first available date I saw (for Phayathai2) was 22nd.

Idk, I only manage to register on 11th and by the time earliest date was 2nd July. I thought registration start 7th and vaccination on 14th? Isn't today is the start of vaccination for foreigners?

    Thaivisa keeps getting cloudflare

A879++   I think people are constantly checking their appointments and when they do they inadvertently generate new queue numbers.  I am still holding onto the (increasingly slim) hope that the appointments are valid and vaccines will be available.  Once the new site gets up and running maybe we'll be able to view our appointments (or lack of) there.  But all a bit confusing right now.

Me too... really hope could get vaccinated smoothly. Anyone got appointment for today and really got vaccinated via appointment thru Thailandintervac?

Interesting.  I just checked my appointment and downloaded/printed the docs again and got new queue numbers from the ones I was originally allocated!!  And the print Queue number was indeed different from the downloaded.  They were sequential.  Seems that it generates a new number every time you go in??  What this mean with regards to appointments......I have no idea.

    Is your number A872++?

  10. I booked for first dose early July and just logged in to print out those forms.

    1) Screening consent form

    2) Appointment form

    3) Service Queue form

Strange, I got 2 service queue forms with different queue numbers. Anyone have similar situation? Or I'm missing something? I swear I only registered once. The 2 buttons is Download appointment and Print Appointment which both lead to the service queue form but came out different number.

And the rest of us can go f ourselves. Thanks!

That's exactly how I felt too. Why don't look at what we could offer since we are already here?

Let us own an export business, open up special zone to own land for people already here more than 3 years continuously, fairly vaccinate us, encourage retirees to open business without the 4 thai workers requirement for the first year, etc.

What we already poured in and suffered through, seems in vain. Soi dog flees...

The already introduced smart visa has failed (less than 600 people) and so will this scheme, if it ever materialises.

Thais in general seem to have something in their DNA to be too proud to just look what other countries doing and implement that 1:1. It always must be a special "Thai" solution.

I would reckon a lot of digital nomads have gone to Malaysia and Indonesia as long as one don't mind the Islamic influence in these countries. Both have super easy regulations to enter and stay in the country for long time. So is Vietnam AFAIK.

I ever spent 4 years in Malaysia with tourist visa. Every 30 days I just go to johor custom make an U-turn via Singapore and enter Malaysia again with 50 Ringgit in my passport. No question asked and always stamped with a smile.

  13. Due to work, I travelled a few southeast Asia countries. I preferred Indonesia and Malaysia as they always have an express(paid) and standard(free) ways of doing things. So we could evaluate if it's necessarily going the expressway. It's like a service. Here in Thailand however they had bring it up another level. The standard ways usually doesn't work and the express paid way is usually the standard ways.
