  1. Drive the route you always do. Wear a mask out of respect for their fear of you. Stay away from papa in case he passes. I just lost my fil and had to endure 5 days of the kk village ceremony with the “looks” and I live here. Not going might be best but my wife and I do everything together so I’d never consider it short of a government mandate.

  2. There’s possibly a large discount coming so delay paying until the terms are disclosed is the advice my wife got from PEA. Also they claim to not be disconnecting meters during the pandemic shutdown for nonpayment.

    Main breaker says "B63" = 63A.

Is it possible the thermal aspect of the thermal-magnetic breaker is doing its job? He says it essentially happens a few minutes after he puts the panel under the full house load. Possibly undersized wire size or distance resistance somewhere generating heat at the main breaker.
63 amp is enough and the constant 2 and 3 minute time delay is the tell versus instantaneous opening would be my guess, emphasis guess.

Or it’s just faulty as you say!

  4. Hopefully my wife has posted a positive spin on the fact that after 10 failed attempts over the course of a week the outcome is a declined message stating the last four digits of her identification are not accurate. It doesn’t matter what combination of maiden or married name the results are the same.
After the coup and at election time she approved of the little guy. Now she’s finished with him because his helicopter money over the years has never landed in her pocket and I think the six months extension of ฿5k for the lucky few was the last straw.
None of the expense and hoops he’s put me through have phased her.
     I almost said I told you so,,almost.

  5. I definitely don’t live here to maintain a western lifestyle or diet. The down and dirty throwback culture and lifestyle is the hook.

Rarely have I found myself excited to pay a premium for comfort foods that will pass the next morning. If they’re deeply discounted (which is often the case as there’s not many foreigners in our little city) then I’ll check the dates and stock up.
When my wife questions the local market price increases for fruit, vegetables, coconuts you know Thailand is getting expensive. She’s not known for worrying about a few baht unless I’m giving a tip!

Fortunately, as a German, I am loved the world over, however, I will take my cue from American preppers and craft a survival and storage programme that will include everything from buying gold to stocking up on essential medicines, foods and drinks. There is no way I will be caught with my pants down again. Only a question of time when the next pandemic comes.

If history is any indicator 102 years will be the next pandemic. Let’s us know if you were ready enough.
