The black hawk is the most usefull of all the recent buying spree.
It can be used for search and recue and since there are already 12 they will have lots of spare parts on hand and this should be able to keep a few flying.
Agreed. At least the helicopters can be used in a variety of non-military ways. Everything from sar to evacuation to emergency medical transfer.

Under pressure from the EU's biggest countries, who are also the biggest net contributors to the budget, the Commission put in the paper an idea that disbursements from the next budget could be linked to governments abiding by the rule of law.
In the US, this is how they impose unfunded federal mandates.

No problem. I did it 8 months ago. It did require a trip to a Thai consulate outside of Thailand.
Which consulate did you go to?

If you really feel that he is doing a good job for America then you must stop burying your head in the sand and ask yourself why millions of people are criticizing what he is doing every single day.
Finally. A conversation starter. Yes, you're correct millions of people do criticize him, just as the other side criticized Obama and would have continued to do so were Hillary Clinton in office. Why? Because the country is irreconcilably fractured and split on fundamental outlooks towards living life. On everything from immigration to health care, from police enforcement to speech codes versus free speech. Things have just gone too far to heal. There needs to be separation.

Sticky topic. One could argue that foreign policy is conducted by Americans who voted foreign policy makers into office for decades.
Hate though is a nasty word and often misused, dislike would be more appropriate and certainly worldwide. Trump adds to the dislike.
Don't like Americans? Then, don't go to America. Hang out with your own tribe. Most Americans don't care what people outside the country think. Or what the America haters in America think.

The only way you can do the change is to go to a embassy or consulate to get a non-b visa.
You will not be able to do the crossing to get a visa exempt entry at Mae Sai. They do not allow out/in crossings unless you have a valid visa for re-entry. You will need to go the Chiang Khong crossing to Laos to do it.
What if you have a non-immigrant B that was last extended for reason of retirement but get a job offer and want to go back to work with a work permit?

The countries with the lowest confidence in Trump were Mexico, at 5 percent and Spain at 7 percent.
If Mexicans have no confidence in Trump, that is a good thing. Mexico is a leech, dumping its low IQ social failures and criminals into the US and then sucking out remittances. I would be worried if Mexico thought highly of Trump. Instead, Trump is putting Americans before Mexicans. Imagine that!

Cuba doesn't even appear on the radar for 99 percent of Americans. Trump should end DACA, build the damn Wall, and stop taking in refugees, instead of messing with Cuba, which has become about as innocuous as it could be.

Trump was not elected to get us into war in Syria. He was elected to curtail immigration and refugees, get rid of bad trade deals, and put American workers first. Not all this neocon crap.

No, you forgot. We're supposed to create hashtags, hold candlelight vigils, paint our FB pages in the colors of the country of victims, and bleat about love. Wonder how Katy Perry will respond to this attack.

Most tourists, when they go to another country besides their own, actually are apt to be more careful to not do wrong and upset people. The danger is probably with those expats who have become too comfortable and/or complacent with things and have started to think that Thailand is "theirs." There actually isn't that many who fit into this category, but those that do are much more likely to find themselves in danger than the average tourist, who usually walks around on pins and needles about committing some cultural wrong.

If you didn't notice, the fact that there was an armed police presence that took out the shooter is the only thing that prevented an outright massacre.

The tone of Loughner's online writings and videos from immediately before the attack were described by The Guardian as "almost exclusively conservative and anti-government, with echoes of the populist campaigning of the Tea Party movement".[43]
Oh, The Guardian. Now, that's a really objective source.

Jared Loughner, a right wing loon.

Wrong again. "Ultimately, it seems illegitimate to tie Loughner to the mainstream right or mainstream left, as his beliefs were well within the realm of the fringe. Indeed, Loughner appears to have simply been a disturbed individual who lacked a coherent political philosophy other than a deep-seated anti-government sentiment." http://www.cbsnews.com/news/what-does-jared-lee-loughner-believe/

Actually, what was lame was your attempt to divide and intimidate people by implying that urban folks (all bad) would be outgunned by the rural folks (all good) when they laid siege to the cities. Stereotypical right winger's wet dream.
Oh, my, facts seem to equate to intimidation and an attempt to divide in your mind. And the facts are these: there are over 3000 counties in the US; left wing Blue counties are located in just over 140 of them; mostly those counties are on the coastline or in bankrupt Chicago and consist altogether across the country of less than 10 percent of the land mass of the US. Maybe Trump is building the WALL in the wrong spots. Just put up one around SF/LA/NYC/BOS/PHIL and a few others and make the fictionalized Escape from New York a reality. Nobody needs to lay siege to these places. People living in urban environment are already living on the edge. If even the electricity goes out for a few days, they'll be going after each other with baseball bats and broken bottles.

The anti-trump resistance is NOT a terror organization.
It's so disgusting that disingenuous trumpists are trying to exploit this incident in this way.
Who are they fooling?
Recently, trump's son who is clearly going places even the clown president won't go publicly (and that takes a lot) went on record saying democrats aren't even people.
Let that sink in!
Those that naively thought this tragic incident would bring more unity. Forget about it!
Within hours of it, we had republicans suggesting people resisting trump should not be allowed to say basic truths about trumpist policies, such as the FACT that if "trumpcare" is ever passed, it will directly result in the deaths of many thousands of Americans.
trumpists ... nice try. trump is a national disgrace. He has no business being president. He is clearly criminally corrupt. The movement to remove him from office (PEACEFULLY) will continue and there is nothing you can do about it.

I wonder what his position will be regarding Chinese claims to South China Sea, seeing as how Thailand is in hock to China for subs, APCs, trains, etc?
