What the flipping flip?!?!  That was like a T-Boned interpretation of an inside out swimming experience in a pale shade of blue, but ... with more dimensions.

    I'm saying this:

You observe something, you form an opinion, you project that back on them, people cheer lead your smarts, then you don't like someone making an observation so make vapour responses.

    For what?

The guy has an opinion.  It's not going to ruin anyone's day.

(and Mr mirror man, let us know when you lose your virginity and are no longer angry).

You'll be some pup when your tail grows.... ????

Please be aware that your interpretations of another, are more a reflection of yourself and not them.  You're telling him what he was thinking.  Don't be surprised if you get some pushback.

Some people post like they haven't lost their virginity yet and have anger issues with those who have... ????

Thanks for confirming that papa al.

I am in Australia, where the Aerox is not available, only NMAX here. I am currently importing a new one, and am purchasing some parts i like beforehand, in order to be ready to set the bike up to my liking.

I also have some more questions i'm curious about, and hoping good answers for...

    First some facts...
As far as i know, the Aerox is available in the following countries only....

    Malaysia (NVX)
    Thailand (Aerox)
    Indonesia (Aerox)
    Vietnam (NVX)
    Philippines (Aerox)

The Aerox 155 , NMAX , & YZF-R15, all share the same engine, yet power figures differ....

    Aerox 155
    HP 11kw @ 8000rpm
    Torque 13.8nm @ 6250

    NMAX
    HP 11.1kw @ 8000rpm
    Torque 14.4nm @ 6000rpm

    YZF-R15
    HP 14.2kw @ 10000rpm
    Torque 14.7nm @ 8500rpm

    Questions....

    1. Why did Yamaha choose to call it the NVX in Malaysia & Vietnam, and not call it the Aerox like the other countries? (It seems to me, that Aerox would have been better, as its a legendary name for Yamaha, and suits this bike more in my opinion, even for marketing purposes)

    2. Why would Yamaha not tune the Aerox up to at least the power figures of the NMAX or even up to the YZF-R15?
I understand the NVX is lighter then the NMAX, so its power to weight ratio is superior, meaning its actually faster then the NMAX, but why did they choose to not tune it to its maximum anyway (even up to YZF-R15 figures), and make it as fast as possible?

    3. In what way technically, do the engines differ, in order to achieve these different levels of power output?

I look forward to some insight and answers to my questions, to help relieve my curiosity. Much appreciated, and thanks in advance.

Probably don't want it to be faster than the R-15 in case it affects sales

It's already better than the nmax i think due to the weight reduction so maybe they want it exactly where it is in the lineup

When i came back to Singapore Airport two weeks later my eyes were popping out with head turning beauties every 30 seconds...

female beauty tends to peak between late teens and early 20s. By 30, most women are wholly unattractive

i think your having a bit of a joke with that statement unless you truly believe that. lucky your in Asia and you can pay for a young girls.

personally i wouldn't want a girl around me in her late teens or early 20s for more than an hour.

If your too old to "cut the mustard"... You can still lick the jar! ????

I like elephant flaps (beef curtains).  I like anything that is female to be prominent and not CGI'd or photoshopped out on the front of a magazine.  If you ever look on youtube with (primarily Japanese, but also other Asian regions) were they have eye, hair, jowls tighteners, tooth overlays etc, and the do a transformation from omg 'n' 'o' no, to wow, is that really possible? then you can see the fakery (they look like Anime cartoons), and want to take them for a swim to see if it's all water proof.  Asians with blue or green eyes look great, until you take a second and realise the lie - you're not interacting with a person, but a pre A.I. organic robot.

So so many beautiful people, all natural, and I wonder how they get the mental distortion to want to Orange-utan their hair, piece, tattoo, whiten, silicone etc.

I saw a young girl on our street yesterday morning when the dogs demanded that it was walk time about 5:15am (not even light yet, "and you missie are not the alpha"), but eventually I do what blokes do and comply.  This girl was incredibly pretty, lean, had something about her (way too young for my fat western ass and my wedding ring, but I was just looking).  She was so shy, and our little pup really wanted to meet her, taking me for a walk as much as she could pull the leash.  She was scared of the pup (she can't bite really, it's a rat on stilts), but she smiled that nervous smile.

The point being, this is not an old blokes daydream, it's that she didn't have fashion braces, silicone, hair colour change, impolite clothing and she was very unsure of herself, which was truly beautiful.  I guess I'll see her in 5 years somewhere in summertime, when her elders have told her how it should be done, and she'll be just another broken commodity.

How I wish I'd got here at 18 with resources and met someone that was similar to the above, but as they say "too soon old, too late smart".

We used to call them gammon steaks.... ????

You are the OP that was boasting of how clever you were putting your money into gold? I'm not calling it investing, as it's a currency hedge. Is there some reason your OP has more credibility?

Typically, gold has always been a terrible investment

A store of value vs paper money is the only thing it looks good against

But the futures is digital guys, whether we like it or not, cryptocurrencys like bitcoin are infinitely divisible, think about gold created in a digital age with limited scarcity predictable supply rate and as easy to send as an email, then you have bitcoin

    Basically, gold 2.0

The difference being, of course, that Google, Microsoft and Amazon generate revenue and earnings and throw off cash.  Bitcoin?  Nope

Gold can be made into jewelry, used to plate electrical conductors, and a myriad of other uses.  Bitcoin?  Nope.

Real estate and land, the same.  Many uses other than just watching the charts.  Bitcoin?  Nope

Hell, even a Forex investment throws off interest from the bank where you keep your Somali Simolians.  Bitcoin?  Nope.

Bitcoin reminds me of the emperor's new clothes...    They looked great to some.  Not so great to others.

Find me a crypto based on something tangible, and the game changes.

I am not here to sell you anything because i don't care who buys it or who doesn't

I believe Cryptocurrency and tokenisation is a game changer but it's still in its infancy so it could still fail

as for use case, please see :

Xrp is the 3rd largest crypto project and it can and will replace the swift network for banks, only the currency exchange and transfer costs a tiny fraction of a penny (something like 1/10,000th) and they've already got over 200+ major financial institutions using it (average tx speed is between 4 and 7 seconds vs a few days and $35 fee +  for conventional banking)

Its all about the risk tolerance if you want to get in this early, if you can't afford it then definitely don't, leave your money in the bank making ~1% a year (that's  just not for me, personally)

I wouldn't advice anyone who can't afford to lose a penny to invest

    in anything risky

As it's similar size and cost what is the advantage of the Samsung over the Crucial ?

Samsung evo 860/970 is the gold standard of ssd brands imo

The warranty is usually longer and the TBW is more than cheaper brands

I have some that Samsung 840 and 850 drives that are running 24/7 for years now and far exceeded the warranty so i trust their quality and the price difference is negligible thesedays

Because I can't turn back the clock and buy it in 2011.  And I don't think you can, either.  Today, it's not a good bet.

Could it go to $50,000 as some pundits seem to predict?  Sure.

But there's a huge difference in the downside between your $3 bitcoin that hit $20,000 and today's $3,000 bitcoin that may (?) go to $50K.  And not nearly as much upside relative to the risk of it going tits up.  Like Enron did.

Edit:  BTW, if I want to buy something worth $100 with Bitcoin, how much will that blockchain transaction cost to implement today?  In 5 more years?

Apple, Google, amazon, Uber,Airbnb, Facebook were all pennies in the start and they all chanced

Bill Gates was unable to convince his best friend Warren buffet to invest in Microsoft in 1994

There are no 100% risk free investments and everyone here should be able to make to their own mind what their risk/reward tolerance is and act accordingly

I would not like a portfolio that didn't include some exposure to cryptocurrency but I'm not here to sell it anyone else
