  1. Is “dangerously close” the same as almost pregnant? Maybe quit wasting time/money looking in the rear view mirror and focus on your country going forward.
  2. Yes exactly, it’s NOT based on your nationality or ethnicity. It’s based on your postal code. If you live within a region, and anyone who lives within that region, will get the discount. That’s a lot different than charging foreigners more money.
  3. I just want to say, I often save informative advice regarding the non-o/a visas as I am one of those who have had theirs expire. Most of the great responses comes from you DrJack54 - thank you always for your input to this forum. Wayne
  4. You’ll also need a couple of photos. My immigration guy charges 2000 and that includes the required photos.
  5. Extension of stay. This trip I came as a tourist. 30 days, I’m extending 30 more.
  6. So here I am unfortunately bringing bad news. It seems the stadium satellite office no longer has a computer. (What ? Yes, that’s what he said) I was there this morning, February 1st to do my extension. I saw the same office fella as described above. Great guy, said he’s no longer able to do them and I needed to go to the new office which is close to their old existing main office. In the years coming here prior, I have found this satellite office & manager to be very useful, helpful and knowledgeable. Fast forward to the new office. Together we completed all the documents and they told me to come back in a week to get the stamp in my book. I don’t know if this is a new system but it’s new for me. Wayne
  7. Did you log in and check the status? That’s a new feature they’ve added. Not sure if they’ll email you if it’s rejected. They might just move it aside :-((
  8. Thais returning from Canada do need a negative preflight Covid test (within 72hrs before boarding) as well as another test on entry to Thailand.
  9. I think it’s a great idea. They should open stores for the unvax people as well. See who shops there ???? it’s simple, if you don’t like their rules, move on. If you don’t like their country, move out.????
  10. People may say you don’t need to because they’re gotten away with it but if you’re looking for the correct answer, well it’s as follows. Local laws in Thailand requires Thai citizens to carry their national identification card, so foreigners in this country are expected to carry identification in the form of a valid passport, explains Supasate Chokchai, the deputy commander of the Tourist Police Division.
