My condo now has a 7-11 vending mc near the lifts. A full size (24 hour) 7-11 is 50 meters away at the condo entrance.

I agree 100% with death penalties but if this guy had confessed immediately and been caught in an easier manner, he would have escaped the death sentence.
That’s the part I don’t agree with, criminals (not just in Thailand) are often caught “bang to rights” and have punishments halved by fessing up to their obvious guilt.
Not sure though how to administer half a death sentence.

Now living away from the coast I wish it was vacant to also use for short visits but am prepared to buy another if the prices fall drastically.
Jomptien is imo extremely good value property wise and as a retirement/holiday destination.
