Unfortunately, no difference between driving skills and boating skills with the majority here. Education could be the key in solving the problem.....

Sources say, that he has been suffering from an ingrown toe nail for quite some time now. But this must still be confirmed…..

Did you receive the APPROVED email? That should have the PDF attachment. Check spam/promotion folders.
I never received an approval email. I did check the status of the application. It did say "approved", but I can not print out the pdf file. So I made a screen shot of the status page approval.

Did you guys do the 'check status' of your accepted submission on the website? Sometimes the email telling one of its approval does not get sent (or ends up in the junk folder.)
Do a 'check status'; you'll see whether it's still pending, or if it's been approved/rejected.
I checked my status and found that my application has been approved, but I can not open the pdf-file. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem?

If ever driven around Phuket, and seen some of these tourist on motorbikes, I'm surprised we do see a lot more 'Go Fund my Stupidity' threads.
Inexperienced, unconfident, shaky, all over the road novice driver's, obviously unlicensed and without helmets on.
It's mind boggling. Luckily the locals are well experienced in avoiding having accidents with them.
I agree 100% to your first 2 paragraphs..... but "experienced locals"? ... I do have my doubts on that one, sorry.

When you see the traffic situation in Phuket, you think you‘re in the middle of the high season. It‘s just crazy!!

They could have at least cleaned him up before presenting him to the press. Oh wait…… are those supposed to be tattoos?? In that case he would be better off scaring the rats in the sewer with his inked body.

If you take care not to fall into the DCC trap the exchange rates are determined by the card issuer (VISA, Mastercard...).
These rates are not that bad.
DCC: local banks try to let them do the exchange and show you the amount in your currency. If ever you see your currency then cancel/abort.
https://wise.com/us/blog/choose-local-currency-at-foreign-atm
In the first years I often used cards.
Since years now using WISE transfer.
Always remember….. when banks offer you something, it‘s always to your disadvantage as a customer. Never ever accept them exchanging the rate for. Very lousy exchange rate!!

What I don't understand is, why Russia doesn't just close down it's borders, so no men at a certain age can leave the country and dodge getting drafted

First, I don't think any country shouls allow Russians to go there now because of the war they started in Ukraine. The Russians needs to be tough and protest from within Russia.
Second, I also believe that Russians should be allowed asylum when refusing to participate in Russias invasion into Ukraine.
So, that would mean any Russian that are refusing to be a soldier and those who protest, should be welcomed with open arms as refugees.
So, just being a lazy Russian tourist, and not taking responsibility for their country is just bad.
Russians can not be recognized as refugees, since Thailand is acting neutral in condemning the war with Ukraine. LOS has put itself in a dilemma….

The DDC stated that the disease is rare in Thailand, noting that only 17 patients were diagnosed with the disease in Thailand from 1983–2021.
Mmmmh….. I wonder if this statement has ever been questioned.
