I used a letter from my embassy and a copy of my condo contract.
Good luck.
What is the letter about? Is it simply a certified true copy of your passport?

A 30 day Visa exempt entry.
The requirement is 10,000 baht.
For a 60 day Tourist Visa.
The requirement is 20,000 baht.
Is there similar requirement for METV holders?

Above post may be correct that "Things are different now". However, I opened an account 2 years ago at BKK bank on a visa exempt status. I had to have a certified copy of my passport which I got at the passport office in my home country. And my gf acted as my "sponsor" (same could be so in your situation).
Good luck with all your plans.
Did they keep the certified copy of your passport or it was returned to you after your bank account was opened?

You can apply for an extension up to 2weeks early. The extension dates from the end of your current permission to stay(stamped in your passport). The visa is used and is of no further use.
How long do you usually have to wait to collect your passport after you make the extension application successfully?

Bilateral Agreements were cited in the order as not included in the 2x land-border visa-exempt limit. Those two countries are also absent from the list in the rule, as shown here:
Thanks for your detailed reply. ????
Does the 2-entry rule apply to visa exempt entries at sea border crossings as well?

The 2 entry rule is only for visa exempt entries at at land border crossings.
If you have a visa for entry there is no limit.
Does the 2-entry rule at land border crossings apply to:
visa wavier entries (such as: South Koreans, 90-day stay)
visa wavier entries (such as: Russians, 30-day stay)

Did you present the original UK marriage certificate as well or only its Thai translation?

Does the amount of money need to stay in the same bank account for a certain period of time before making the visa application?

..... you get a multiple entry Non O visa allowing unlimited 90-day stays for one year .....
Does it mean a multiple entry Non O visa is valid for a year and its holder is allowed to stay for 90 days after entering the country each time?

If you have your marriage certificate and copy of your wife's ID card you could apply for a single entry non-o visa.
If a UK marriage cert is held, does it need to get legalized by a Thai diplomatic mission in the UK before making the visa application?

If one travels to Thailand under visa exempt (30 days) entry, can the traveler apply for a single/multiple re-entry permit?
I know the question is odd but just want to know whether it is practicable. Thanks.

Just a matter of interest: What is the letter about?
Or a certified copy of passport needed?

Just a matter of interest: Do the bank statements over the last 6 months of a "time deposit" meet the requirement of applying METV? Or the required money must be kept in a savings account instead?

And finally the Cambodian border police asked 1000 baht «tip»
Did they re-stamp the missing entry stamp or simply make some indication in the passport to confirm that she did enter the country legally previously?

Just a matter of interest: Does your child need to get registered as a British citizen before applying for a British passport if she is a British citizen by descent?

I will try to make the two applications in one visit to Bangkok!
Just a matter of interest: Isn't the child's application of British passport supposed to be made by post (to the UK)? Does the Embassy in BKK nowadays accept such applications?

18 months ago I had a child with at the time gf. Since then we have broken up and things have been difficult. There's no chance of us being back together again. But it would be a much better life if she could move to the UK with my daughter.
Is this possible? I am willing to o help in anyway I can but I don't want to get married if that's the only way. I am willing to support them both and house them if that makes any difference.
Just a matter of interest:
1) What is your immigration/visa status in the UK?
2) Are you named in the child's birth certificate?
Expelled at BKK today

Can you find out from the refusal of entry stamp if there is one in your passport?
