I had infection in tooth which was behind bridge. Xray showed it can be saved but once bridge removed dentist said all three teeth behind caanot be saved n must be removed. I was sent to another specialist dentist in Khaotalo who removed three teeth on 15 February. On 2nd March (2 weeks after removing) my normal dentist in Jomtien checked, took measurement to put denture, price quoted 11000 THB. I went again on 4h March and than on 7 th March when new denture was available but it was extreme painful to put on. Dentist said your gums have not recovered and I may have diabities which I do not have, had got checked. How long does gums take to settle to put denture on ? Do I need to wait longer before trying again, dentist has told me to come again on 11 March (I have already paid 3000 into 3 total 9000 THB). Any expert experienced person with denture recomend advice what to do, wait or take second opinion ? Any good dentist recommendation in Jomtien/Pattaya ? All advice recoomendation highly appriciated and I thank in advance.

Received SMS from Krungthai Bank asking to give information for FATCA, Common Reporting Standard. Presume they will ask if am Thai Resident ? Details of my UK passport or address ? Do they send this information to HMRC directly or via Thai Tax Office ? Is there any limit of amount over which information is exchanged or all foreign passport holder information is exchanged irrespective of money amount here ? One you tube blogger has advised that you must be able to prove UK ties if you are absent from UK for long time and returning to UK on British Passport even if you have no dual citizen. Boarder Control can stop, question and deny entry irrespective of you are British Citizen . It is difficult to understand this - Is it TRUE ?

No I want to change my UK address as I have sold my property when I was there but left with solicitors to complete transaction/handover. Previously I had done this online about four years back but now DVLA is asking to download UK ID app on phone, do face recognition with passport or driving license than they can do it. This is new law recently updated not only for DVLA but all UK government work. Just wondered with new app and VPN can do or not ?

Has anyone used UK ID APPLICATION on smart phone ? If so do you use VPN with UK IP ADDRESS or Thai IP ADDRESS? Can one apply and change address on UK Driving License ? I have done this in past few years back but now its asking to download and photo verify on UK ID APP. My understanding is with IP address outside UK it will not allow you to do or security flag can be raised ? Honest helpful reply appreciated and I thank in advance for same. As required for year 2024 I filled tax return online with help from Thai person as all is in Thai online. As per that I was assessed based on what I transferred in bank, No tax payable but to claim tax refund for tax deducted on interest paid on my savings in Thai Bank. It was small amount of around 1400 THB. Having received message from Revenue to submit documents, went to Revenue department and they asked for: 1.passport copy of all pages. 2.Bank book account - all pages. 3. Income tax payment certificate from tax authority of no income. 4. Certificate of non-income in Thailand. 5. Source of Income Number 1 and 2 are fine I can do. Cannot understand how to get Income tax payment certificate as per number 3 and where to get certificate of no income in Thailand - number 4. Its very small amount of refund, can let it go as it is likely to cost much more than value of refund. As such I was charged 1000THb to file tax return as all was in Thai and news kept on saying its compulsory to declare and file return for all transfers into Thailand. Any advice, comments: Please advice honestly and I thank in advance to all. Am seriously looking at not to stay in Thailand more than 6 months and or leave all together. Any suggestions ?

Looking to apply for residence in Mauritius and they have asked to get Character CERTIFICATE as I have been living here as retiree resident for last few years. Where do I apply n how to get that ? I know about Police Certificate from Bangkok for no criminal record but I do not know do they issue Character Certificate or do I need to approach Immigration with my Retirement Extension ? I have Wizz TV - Sky Mirror. Even after connecting direct to modem having continued buffering problem. Before Sky news there was no buffering now even that is has buffering. I have no problem viewing for example CNA -Singapore channel directly on Internet or you tube. Any advise how to solve this issue ? I am connected on Wizz TV App on android box than by HDMI to TV. I hold retirement extension valid till December 2025 and multi re entry on my UK Passport. Going to UK in March 2025 and will get new passport on return. I will carry both passports when I arrive in Bangkok and presume Immigration officer will stamp new passport with extension based in old passport till December 2025 ? Please correct me if not ? What is the procedure after that at Jomtien Immigration to transfer all stamps and how/when to do it ? All advice will be appriciated and I thank in advance.
